1Here's some stuff from Greg.

2Hi, Mr. Farshtey, I was wondering if you could answer some questions, please?
31. How does Kopaka Nuva get thrust to fly and stay aloft without Solek on his back? I got the set and noticed that he doesn't have any visible means of thrust, just wings.
42. Am I correct in assuming that Takanuva's "vital information" for the Nuva and the Shadow Leech attack will be chronicled in Bionicle Legends #10?
53. Did MoMN factor the Shadow Leeches into the plan, as seeing how they're a fairly recent development?
64. As he now has two different elements under his control, are Takanuva's light powers half as strong as they were before? 74b. Are his shadow powers not as effective as if he was a full Toa of Shadow?
85. On the matter of destiny. Lhikan's destiny was to make more Toa, right? But in order to do so, he had to give up his Toa power first. So if you give up your Toa power before your destiny is completed, you will still become a Turaga?
96. Will the Pit Mutagen come into play this year? I apologize if this question is one of those that you can't answer because it has to do too much with future storyline.
107. Not so much on a Bionicle-related note, but, a while ago, I saw an old Star Wars RPG manual, and on the list of staff that worked on the project, I saw the name Greg Farshtey. Was that you?

111) I believe the wings provide the power 122) Yes 133) He couldn't know what form it would take, but he did instruct Mutran to prepare something that could achieve that effect against Matoran of Light 144) No 154b) They are less effective to the extent that he does not want to use them 165) The power with your theory is that he did not become a Toa until after the Metru were created. But he invested his power in the Toa stones before that. 176) Yes 187) Yes. I used to work for West End Games, which had the Star Wars RPG license for several years.

19I find numbers 2 and 6 veeeery interesting.

1A few questions from Greg:
2Hey Greg,
3Like everyone else, I have Takanuva Q's
41. What would happen if Takanuva went nova, after the Leech attack? Would it be light to the left and shadow to the right? 52. Does Takanuva's new form still have the Kohlii Staff of Light? 63. Is BS01 right when it says that Takanuva grows in size in Dark Mirror? 74. Did Takutanuva have a tool? If yes, what was it?
8Thanks in advance,
9R:ToG

101) Yup 112) No 123) No, it is not. He does not grow in size during the web serial, nor before it. 134) I don't recall. You would probably need to watch Mask of Light where he appeared.

14I found 1 interesting.

1Out of curiousity, what would happen if the Twilight Takanuva went Nova?

2Light goes one way, and shadow the other

3So it would look kind of like this?

4Yes

6I find that to be very interesting. He coudl be potentially devastating to Toa and Makuta. However, if it was vice-versa then he coudl replenish Makuta and To at the same time. Thsi brings MANY possibilities.

1Hello Greg, just listened to the Dark Mirror and it was awesome. But after listening to it, I just have a few questions.
21) Since the Toa went bad, what happened to the OoMN? Are they going to pop in to this story, seeing as they aren't connected to the Toa.
32) The time in this universe is the same as the one Taka left correct?
43) Could, perchance, Takanuva find Takua and give him the other mask of light that is in this demison( i'm bad at spelling)?
54) If the answer to 2 is yes, then wouldn't the Makuta already be plotting Mata Nui's slumber? So they are just trying to rid themselves of the Toa Empire so they can fulfil their plan correct?
65) By now, the League of Six Kingdoms is gone right?
76) How did the Toa Mata get to Metru Nui if they wouldn't leave the Universe core unless Mata Nui was put to sleep?
87) Since Taka now has control over two elements, is he more powerful then the Mata or any Toa for that matter?
98) If a shadow leech was removed mid drain from any Toa, would that Toa also gain shadow powers?
109) I'm guessing the way Taka gets new armor is that the BoM or DH in the new universe give him some to help fight the Toa?
11Thank you for you time in answering these. I really appreciate it.

121) Follow the story and find out 132) Correct 143) Well, we'll see. To get the Avohkii, he would need to steal it from Artakha, and Takanuva does not know where Artakha is, so it would be a challenge. 154) No. Any chance of the Makuta doing that was crushed long ago by the Toa. The BOM is scattered and on the run in this universe. 165) Yes 176) That will be explained 187) I wouldn't say so, no 198) Yes 209) Nope

21Thank you for answering those. Just some more questions.
221) In this universe, did the origanal BoM leader get kicked out by now, since MoMN's plan didn't go into affect?
232) Is Lesovikk part of the Toa Empire (great name) since he might not've journeyed into the Pit since his friends aren't there?
243) I know that some Toa probably didn't agree with what Tuyet was doing, so I'm guessing they were killed correct?
254) There is a MoLi in this universe too correct?
265) If yes to 4, wouldn't it's countdown begin since " war famine and pestilence" is spreading across the Domiverse?
276) If no to 5, then why would it not be counting down? Is it because the Universe Core is pretty much untouched by all this?
287) In the OGD, you stated that the shadow leech changed Taka's color, couldn't he just make the colors look normal because of his ability over light? 297a) Also, if they change color, is that why the shadow matoran look the way they do color wise?
308) Regarding the answer to number 7 in the last PM above concerning the two elements, how wouldn't Taka's control over two elements make him stronger than the average Toa, is it because he lost complete control of light and doesn't have complete control over shadow either?
319)Since Taka has the MoL, wouldn't he have even more light then his elemental energy houses because his mask gives him large supplies as long as he concentrates hard enough, so he could get enough Light to kill a Makuta in one hit?
3210) Just a ramdom one here, Have you ever read the Inheritence books, ( Eragon and the Eldest are the two current ones out)?
33Thanks again::

341) Yes, because he was overthrown long before Makuta actually struck at Mata Nui. Easy way to measure this is that anything that happened more than 3500 years ago in the BIONICLE timeline still happened. 352) We'll see. He would still have been a wanderer in this universe, so it remains to be seen if he was reined in by Tuyet or not. 363) Well, we know Lhikan was. But I would think execution of other Toa would have been kept to a minimum, because it would send a bad signal. More likely, they would have been appeased and then sent on what amounted to suicide missions to get rid of them. 374) Yes, on Artakha 385) Nope. War, famine and pestilence aren't spreading across this universe. The Toa rule, so the forces of order are in control, not the Makuta. 396) See answer to #5. The Toa's reason for existing is to maintain order, in the case of our universe, tempered with justice and mercy. In this universe, justice and mercy, not so much, but order is still being maintained. Mata Nui is awake. The universe is in balance and threats to order have been contained. This is the same reason the Ignika did not start counting down when the League of Six Kingdoms ran things. 407) He could if he knew he had that ability. But he doesn't know because he has no memory of his years as an Av-Matoran. 417a) Actually, no. Once drained of all light, the SMs lose their control of light, and therefore no longer have that power. They look as they do thanks to Mutran. 428) I guess because I don't see either element being more powerful than the other, so shooting shadow out of one hand and light out of the other is not that much different than shooting light or shadow out of both hands. 439) I would say no. For one thing, enabling him to kill a Makuta with one blow would make him too powerful and unbalance the story. You wouldn't need any other Toa in the story then. 4410) No. I read very little fiction, actually, outside of comics, because I write it all week long. I read mainly history for fun.

45Some stuff about Taka. Most of you guys asked the same questions as me so nothing to new. Number 10 was just out of curiosity.
#12412
1Here are a couple questions not related to the military:
21. I know the Rahaga's propellers in WoS were non-canon, but could they still fly by grabbing hold of their Rhotuka like the Hordika did?
32. What happened to the Nuva Cube when Mata Nui was cleansed?
43. I know that officially the Kahu and Kewa were merged into the Gukko, but they appeared in a lot of places in their previous forms. (Both had sets of them, were in the MNOLG, etc.) 5Seeing as how they were clearly very different creatures, do you think it would be acceptable to say on the wiki that they're two separate breeds of Gukko? It would allow for several canon sources to make much more sense...
64. Are there any Gadunka that live in shallower waters than the Pit? (I assume there must be, as the Toa Mahri wouldn't have a name for them otherwise...)
75. Currently we aren't using "Twilight" as Takanuva's element on the wiki because you've stated it's not 100% official. If we put a note on the page that it's not official, would it be acceptable to put in the article?
86. If the Toa Nuva are out of range from their Suvas which always must contain their Nuva Symbols, why do they still have elemental powers?
97. We know Suvas can transfer a Toa's mask to them from a distance, so I'm wondering: Does a Toa Suva store the masks inside them physically or in a state similar to when they're being transferred? 107a. If the latter, could a small portable Suva be made?
118. Exactly what things are required to make a Suva? Is there a special way they're made?
129. After being mind-shredded by Makuta, how did Karzahni have the focus to activate his Olisi and use it on Lesovikk? 139a. We know based on Bionicle Legends #2 that Karzahni can form an accurate alternate future with no knowledge of its subject. Why then, was Lesovikk's vision inaccurate? Was he unable to use the Olisi properly due to his mind-shred?

141) That would the only possible way, yes 152) Nothing happened to it. It was no longer in use, since the Bahrag were already free. 163) I'd have to think about it. 174) I am sure they live elsewhere, yes 185) Okay by me 196) The suva don't carry the nuva symbols, and range has nothing to do with it. The Toa Nuva retain their powers as long as the symbols are in the possession of beings who believe in them, ie the Matoran. After the incident with the Kal, the symbols were hidden outside the village, and later brought to Metru Nui. 207) Physically 217a) For what purpose? 228) I don't have this information. The concept of the suva dates to before I worked here. 239) It was reflex, basically. A crazy person still can manage to aim and fire a gun. And yes, had he been fully in possession of his faculties, he wouldn't have made the error in Lesovikk's vision.

#12413
1Awesome biocast Greg. I can't wait to see what happens next, but I have a few questions.
21) What is Takanuva's dark side like? Is it like his gerneral personality was darkened, or like he now has two personalities, one light and one dark? 31a) Is his dark side something he can come to terms with, or even eventually control? 41b) If he does eventually do this would it make him much stronger then a normal Toa?
52) Would Takanuva's dark side make it easier for him to work with the Brotherhood and Dark Hunters in the pocket dimension?
63) Is Takanuva the only being in existance that can control both light and shadow? Takutanuva could but he doesn't exist anymore.
74) Are the Toa in the pocket dimension "evil" or just "misguided"?
85) Is light the only element that can be drained? Would it be possible to drain Tahu's fire? 95a) What would happen if you did drain Tahu's fire? Would he become a Toa of Ice since cold is technically just the abcence of heat?
106) In Chinese POW camps in WWII, they had a very different method of getting information out of their prisoners then torture. They would have the POW's write a report on "exactly what you think about communism" and offer a reward of better blankets or food or something for the best ones. The POW's would write reports that didn't nessicarily say that they liked communism (because then it would be too obvious that they were lying) but that maybe made it out that it was slightly better then other people gave it credit for. It was a very slow process but by the time the war was over and they were freed, many of the POW's had compleatly changed their ideas and morals, stating that communism actually was good or else that it wouldn't work for America but it was good for China. My point to all of this is that by constanly saying good things about communism, even if it was at the time a complete lie, the Chinese actually succeeded in compleatly changing the morals of the POW's, so wouldn't it be possible that with the Dark Hunters and Brotherhood constantly doing good things, even if it was for a different purpose, couldn't some of them have actually become good?
11Thank you very much, and sorry for the long question.

121) Basically, he has to struggle with his darker impulses, the same way many humans do. It is very easy, for example, in a fight to just use your powers and kill your enemy, but that is against the Toa code. If you do that, you cross a line you can't go back over. He is now walking that line. 132) We'll see 143) Yes 154) I would call them extremists. A Toa's job is to maintain order, but our Toa do it with justice and with mercy thrown in as well. The Toa in this dimension simply do not -- they put enforcing order over everything else, which makes them closer to the way the League of Six Kingdoms used to act. 165) There is nothing in existence that can drain other elements, although we have seen the capture of the Nuva symbols robbed the Toa Nuva of their elemental powers. 176) I think it comes down to -- where have we said the BOM and DH are doing "good things?" What good things are they doing? They aren't out to protect the Matoran or help them out in any way, they are fighting for their own freedom. If that helps the Matoran too, fine, but that's not their concern.

181) Interesting...... 192) I would assume that a dark side would help with that. 203) YAY: He's special: 214) Hmmmmm...I suppose that makes sense. 225) O.K :D 236) I have a hard time believeing that they wouldn't inadvertantly save a few matoran over the years of "freedom fighting" and the point of my question was that if you do something over and over again, it has been psychologicaly proven, that that thing will become a part of your beliefs. The POW's didn't actually like communism, they hated it just like any other self-respecting American, but by stating that they liked it over and over again (for the purpose of getting food and better clothing and whatnot) they actually 'teached' themselves to believe those things. By doing things that help the Matoran over and over again, even if the purpose is selfish, shouldn't they 'teach' themselve's to want to help the matoran in the future? I read all of this in a book about psychology by the way. :D

31) what happened to the toa stones the toa metru put on mata nui? 42) could every toa there is make 6 toa stones and give them to 6 matoran therefore making alot of toa? 53) is the reason the summer makuta are missing there powers is because they are not in there armor?
6that's about it thank you for your time
7-draco

81) They were gathered by Takua in the Tales of the Tohunga video game in 2001 and used to summon the Toa Mata to Mata Nui. 92) No, because only Matoran who are destined to become Toa can become Toa. You can hand out Toa stones all day long, but if none of the Matoran you give them to are destined to become Toa, the stones will just be stones for them. 103) No. They are in their armor. Makuta are shapeshifters, they can look how they like.
111) oh ok 122) i meant if they were all destined to become toa, but ok 133) i wasn't asking about their looks, i was just curious because i heard they can't shapeshift, and not being in their own armor would make them lose some of their abilities.

11. Can a Makuta possess a machine?
22. Does Makuta (specie) act like shadow in term of personality?
33. Does the Order of Mata Nui know of Makuta's master plan? 43b. Does Takanuva knows?
54. Have any Dark Hunter made an attempt on the Shadow One's life?
65. In the pocket dimension, have any attempts been made on Tuyet's life?
76. Can a Toa of Iron fix damaged masks?

81) Yes, Maxilos was a machine, right? 92) What do you think a shadow's personality is like? 103) No 113b) No 124) Yes, the Piraka did way back when, in BIONICLE Legends #4 135) I doubt it. 146) If the mask is made out of metallic protodermis

1Some more stuff. It isn't incredibly new TBH.

2Hallo Greg. Nice serials you wrote, they're very intruiging IMO. Few questions if you don't mind :) 31. When, in relation to FoF, does Dark Mirror take place?
42. You said that Brutaka still has his Olmak in FoF. Does that mean that it was Brutaka who put him in "Dark Metru Nui", and does that also mean Takanuva's going to have to find a way back on his own?
53. Nidhiki has not been mutated horribly correct?
64. The Toa Mahri in Dark Metru Nui are just Matoran right?
75. You said a while back that we'd be seeing a Makuta in the summer who realised that the plan simply wouldn't benefit them, so if the Makuta were to say this to someone else, what exactly would happen to him (or her, there I think there's a Female Makuta thrown in for good measure)?
86. Some 80,000 years ago, when MoMN cooked up his "Grand Plan" what would have happenned to him if the BoM didn't like his plan?
97. Say you were fighting a Toa of Shadow. What exactly could he do to you?
108. How many Av matoran are there in relation to Shadow Matoran? (Ie, Minority, majority etc.)
11Thank you very much :)

121) Same general time 132) Takanuva wound up there by accident, because the Olmak is damaged and not functioning at 100% efficiency 143) Correct 154) Correct. 165) That would depend. If he said it and then refused to cooperate with the plan, he'd be killed. If he is still doing his job and just complaining about it, he would be all right. 176) Most likely, the then leader of the BOM would have had him imprisoned 187) I'd suggest checking out Web of Shadows, in which Roodaka uses shadow energy to blow Keetongu off the side of the Coliseum. 198) Way more Shadow Matoran in Karda Nui. There are five or Matoran villages there, and all but one has fallen to the Makuta.

201. Okay, that makes a bit more sense now. 214. So not going with plan = death? I take it he's smart enough to realise that actively rebelling against the plan would result in death. 228. Oh dear. That's not good is it?
23A few more questions I thought of on the way home.
249. There a cure for the Shadow Leeches yet? I would've thought the MoLi could do it... 2510. Because of the Bionicle Movie in '09, you said that the Sets for that year have been completely finalised. Have the '08 sets been finalised? 2611. Do you know if we'll be seeing any purple in the sets to come?... 2712. Which serial are you enjoying writing the most? 2813. You said you're a Doctor Who fan. What did you think of Series 3? 29a. Specifically, what did you think of the episode with the Angels in it? 30b. What did you think of the last episode?
31Thank you very much.

329) The Ignika could do it if the transformation from Matoran to shadow Matoran was a natural evolution, but it's not. Something has been removed, and the Ignika cannot restore it. 3310) Oh, a long time ago, C. Summer sets have to be ready to be shown well before ToyFair in February. 3411 No idea. 3512) So far, they are all fun. 3613) I was sorry that Martha left, she was cute. 3713a) Well, I am going to buy the angel action figures, if that tells you anything 3813b) I had mixed feelings about it. I thought the new Master was too much like The Joker. I was more a fan of the original Master from the days of the third Doctor.

1Hiya Greg, just got two quick questions for you. :)I understand if you can't answer number one. 21) Is the Mutagen one of the BoM's viruses? My guess would be that it is potent enough to mutate without EP, and that the storage vat broke in the Great Cataclysm, releasing the substance into the waters where Destral had been teleported at the time. Am I anywhere close? 32) Was the energy output of the Core affected or unbalanced in any way when Voya Nui broke off from the ceiling? 4Thanks for everything: 5-Ax-

61) No, it is not. 72) No

8Nothing big, just for my theory. :)-Ax-

11. I have heard that Taka has more "dark impulses" since he became a Toa of Twilight. What exactly does that mean?
22. Did the Shadow Leech affect how his Avohki looks or its power?
33. Does his change in size happen before the biocast, during, or after? 43a. Does he grow larger, or smaller?
54. Does he gain new weapons, armor, etc, in the alternate dimension?
6Thank you, that's all for now.

71) Think of yourself on a really bad day, when you are irritated and more likely to snap at people. 82) Appearance, definitely 93) After 103a) You'll find out when you see his set 114) No.

12JUst some Taka info

1I just PMed Greg some serial questions:

2I've got some Qs on Dark Mirror: 3(I can understand if these can be answered in future chapters)
41.) In this universe, Nidhiki allied with Tuyet and the Nui Stone, killing Lhikan, and made the Toa Mata enforcers of the 'Toa Empire', right?
52.) When will the chapters be updated?
63.) What has happened to Turaga Dume?
74.) I suppose Vakama, Matau, and the others are slaves like the other Matoran?
85.) Wouldn't the Toa Mata(or whatever) notice Takanuva's similarity to their bodies?
96.) Is Mata Nui still asleep, or is he alive?
107.) As you said, in this universe, destinies are altered; what is the Mata's destiny now?
118.) Where did the Shadow Leech that attacked Takanuva come from?
129.) What are the extent of Takanuva's shadow powers?
1310.) Will Taka's power change alter his mind?
14Thanx. 15----------------- 161) Correct 172) Every two weeks or so 183) Follow the story and find out 194) I wouldn't call the Matoran slaves. They are doing what they are supposed to do -- they're working. That's what Matoran exist to do. 205) What difference would it make if they did? He's an unauthorized Toa with no identity tablet. 216) In the alternate universe, he is alive and awake. If he was dead, so would everyone else be. 227) See answer to #3 238) Icarax 249) About equivalent to what a Toa of Shadow would have 2510) He has a lot of darker impulses he will have to wrestle with

261- I thought so. 272- Also. 283- This should be good: 294- But more... forced. 305- True, true... 316- Duh: 327- Of course. 338- That's interesting... 349- Toa of... SHADOWS? 3510- This should make a good serial:

36But what I don't get:
379) About equivalent to what a Toa of Shadow would have

38But Greg has stated that a Toa of Shadows couldn't exist... this could open new possibilities...

1Hi Greg. It's been a long time since I PMed you last. I know you're busy, so I'll try to keep this quick.
21. Just to add my two cents worth to the sundial debate: is it the sundial used by Makuta and Roodaka in 2004-05? And would Tuyet use it in the pocket MN? 32. When do the web serials take place in conjunction with the books?
4Thank you for your time.
5:t: :m_o: :c:

61) No, it's the one from the original Mata Nui Online Game. 72) The two text serials take place around the same time as Bionicle Legends #9. The biocast takes place after Bionicle Legends #10. (And Bionicle Legends #10 takes place during the second half of Bionicle Legends #9, if that makes sense.)

8I didn't know if those two sundials were the same. Nice to have a timeline, though.

Iranu- Shadow Master
1But what I don't get:
29) About equivalent to what a Toa of Shadow would have

3But Greg has stated that a Toa of Shadows couldn't exist... this could open new possibilities...

4I believe it was something along the lines of that shadow was evil and Toa means "hero". I'd assume he means someone of the same species as a Toa but evil, I.E. an Ex-Toa.
#12432
1A Toa of Shadows can exist. :P

1Re:Concerning the BoM and Mata-Nui, Jan 5 2008, 10:00 PM
2QUOTE 3Hey Greg, I just have a little question here: The Makuta of Metru-Nui is Mata-Nui's "brother", so the other members of the Brotherhood of Makuta (like Antroz, Mutran, Spiriah, etc,... --- are they connected to Mata-Nui in any way?

4In the same way, that they did, at one time, have essentially the same job -- looking after the Matoran.

1Re:Bionicle Logo, Jan 14 2008, 05:33 PM
2QUOTE
3Greg, I have a question:
4Is the Bionicle logo (not the Unity, Duty, Destiny symbol -- The actual Bionicle lettering), Is it subject to change in the 2009 reboot?

5Too soon to know, Terakk. That sort of thing gets decided on when we start doing the packaging, which doesn't get done until models are close to final, and they aren't close to final yet for 2009.
#12435
1Hi Greg, hope you can answer these for me. :) 21a. Does Takanuva have black armor now?
31b. Has his Avohkii changed form?
41c. Will he be appearing in The Final Battle?
52. Why is the first book of 2009 coming out in December?
6~S~

71-1b) You'll find out when images of his new set get released. 81c) Yes 92) I'm not sure what you're referring to. I have not been given a 2009 publication schedule from Scholastic, as far as I know there isn't one yet, so not sure what book you are talking about.

102. On March 19 2007 you posted this in your blog:
11Heard from Scholastic today, and this is the way the book schedule is shaping up for 2008 --
12In-store December 2007 - BIONICLE Legends #8: Downfall - last book of 2007 story, prologue of 2008 story
13In-store March 2008 - BIONICLE Legends #9: Shadows in the Sky
14In-Store June 2008 - BIONICLE Legends #10: Swamp of Secrets
15In-Store September 2008 - BIONICLE Legends #11: Title TBD
16In-store December 2008 - First book of 2009 storyline, may be under a different series title
17Greg

18In this still the book schedule?
19~S~

20March was a long time ago, so things have probably changed. As I said, I don't have a 2009 schedule at this point. There is still discussion going back and forth between LEGO and Scholastic about how many of the young readers we will do and whether the format of the chapter books will change.
21On the subject of your question, though, it's really not that unusual to have, say, a 2009 book hit in December of the year before. If it is a January 1 release on Amazon, for example, it is almost certainly going to be in bookstores a month before that. A good example of this is City of the Lost, which was a January 2007 release but came out before the end of 2006.

22So when you find out whats going on with the books you'll probably post it in your blog, right?

23Yes, assuming the virus problems have eased up on BZP by that point. If not, I may have to take a break from the site for a while.

24Looks like Greg may leave BZ for awhile. :(
25~S~

1I think you're being paranoid. Taking a short break doesn't qualify as leaving in my book. :P
#12437
1Don't know how much of this is new, since I haven't been following the last few answers, but hopefully something here will be helpful to someone. :)
2Hi, Greg. I just have a few assorted questions regarding the latest story.
31. I'm sorta confused with exactly when Icarax has done what things, because it seems he's getting around a lot recently. Could you please tell me which of the following happened? (or if neither, what would be correct)? 4A. Icarax goes to Metru Nui to retrieve the Kraahkan, and while there attacks Takanuva. Then he retrieves and delivers the SoA. Then he goes to Karda Nui, where he stays for the entire 2008 story. (In other words, he goes from Metru Nui to Xia to Karzahni to the Pit to Karda Nui.) 5B. Icarax goes to Metru Nui and gets the Kraahkan, retrieves and delivers the SoA, goes to Karda Nui for the winter 2008 story, and then goes back to Metru Nui with a Shadow Leech to attack Takanuva, after which he returns to Karda Nui. (From Metru Nui to Xia to Karzahni to the Pit to Karda Nui, then back to Metru Nui and then back to Karda Nui.)
61) This is the timeline --
7Icarax goes to Metru Nui to retrieve the Kraahkan and then leaves. 8Icarax goes to Xia and steals the Staff of Artakha. 9Icarax battles the Toa in Karzahni and escapes. 10Icarax goes to Mahri Nui and gives the SoA to Makuta. 11Icarax goes to Metru Nui and uses a shadow leech on Takanuva. 12Icarax then returns to Destral.
132. When in relation to Matoro's death do Dark Mirror and Federation of Fear occur? (Like the day before, at about the same time, a few hours or a day afterwards.)
142) A few days afterwards.
153. Even though it is far from perfect, would you say that the Toa Empire universe is closer to how the Great Beings intended everything to turn out? For example, the Brotherhood never rebelled (or if they did, the Toa Empire stopped them from doing anything major), no one ever went to the surface world outside of the domes, and a lot of the failsafes like the Staff of Artakha, the Bohrok, and the Toa Mata never had to be used? Of course there was still the Great Disruption (right?), but aside from that...
163) I think it close to what Mata Nui tried with the League of Six Kingdoms, and I think in the end it would fail as well. The Matoran are the heart of this universe, and dictatorship, even "benevolent dictatorship," breaks the spirit after a while.
17And sort of unrelated:
185. Based on the fact that Bionicle.com had said before correction that Icarax was the Makuta of Metru Nui, does this mean that originally the Makuta of Metru Nui was originally planned to be a main character and a set in 2008 but was replaced by Icarax, and the website used outdated information? Just out of curiosity.
195) No. Basically, because the set had a Kraahkan, there were folks in Denmark who assumed it was a new version of MOMN. Story-wise, it was never intended to be.
206. I think I read in the OGD that Makuta cannot create protosteel armor. So does this mean that MoMN will basically have no access to several of his powers for the rest of his existence?
216) Means he won't be able to shapeshift, that's correct. But as we saw when he was in Maxilos, he was able to use the vast majority of his other powers.
22Thanks in advance, Greg. :)

1(1). What were the Rahkshi considered before the Matoran arrived at Mata Nui? 2(2). Can anything reverse the effect of the Shadow Leeches? 3(3). Since Takanuva's personality is now split, is the Light or Shadow part is currently dominant? 4(4). If Lhikan was revived by Takutanuva, which form would he have? 5(5). What would a Nova Blast created by a Toa Kaita (let's say, Akamai) look like? 6(6). Why did Icarax attack Takanuva in the first place? 7(7). Is Kraata-Kal's armor made of Protosteel? 8(8). Why is Minion always silent? 9(9). Was Vezon's Spear of Fusion the only one, or are there more? 10(10). Does Hydraxon have any powers? 11(11). How could Takanuva leave the alternate universe he is now within? 12(12). Is Destral the Makuta's home island? 13(13). What is the Toa Ignika currently doing? 14(14). Will we ever meet the leader of the Order of Mata Nui? 15(15). Can you give me one person we do not know that is in the Pit? 16(16). How powerful is a single Exo-Toa?

171) I don't understand your question. 182) Haven't decided yet 193) Neither is dominant, that's the problem 204) Sorry, I don't have time to answer hypothetical questions. 215) Like all three elements involved 226) Orders from MOMN. The Toa of Light is a threat to any and all Makuta 237) No, because Makuta made his armor, and Makuta cannot make protosteel armor 248) As it says in the book, TSO does not know why Minion does not speak, and Minion isn't telling. 259) Only one 2610) No 2711) You're going to have to follow the story to learn that 2812) It's their main base 2913) Toa Ignika does not exist yet in the story. 3014) Yes 3115) Characters you have not met have not been created, so no 3216) As compared to what?
33(1). I reposted Greg the question, still waiting for a reply. 34(2). Interesting.... So maybe Takanuva won't be a Toa of "Twilight" forever. 35(3). Oops.... Takanuva might turn evil...... 36(4). No comment.... 37(5). Could've guessed, but wanted to be 100% sure. 38(6). Obviously.... 39(7). That means Vezok had less trouble breaking Kraata-Kal's armor than I thought. 40(8). No comment again.... 41(9). Aw....... 42(10). Hydraxon doesn't have any powers? That could give him a slight disadavntage over, say, a Makuta. 43(11). Doesn't hurt to try :D 44(12). Looks like Destral isn't the Makuta's homeland. 45(13). Oh. 46(14). Did someone already send Greg that question? 47(15). Well....no comment for the third time. 48(16). Reposted along with the Rahkshi question.

1Hi Greg, I just got done reading The Mutran Chronicles and I have to say, that was an awesome start. You did an awesome job giving the origins of "The Mountain" on Xia. I've got just a couple of questions:
21) Is there any chance of seeing a Miserix set sometime this year? 32) Did he wear the Kraahkan originally? 43) Did you always know/plan that "The Mountain" originated as one of the Brotherhood's experiments, or was that something you were able to throw into the mix for fun? 54) Just gotta ask, what was going through your mind when you wrote the part about Mutran and Chirox flipping a Rahi? I couldn't stop laughing at that paragraph. 65) Seeing as the Makuta weren't evil (well sort of) at that time, what exactly did Icarax do when he lost his temper on Xia? 76) So would "Xian" be another word for any Vortixx resident of Xia? 87) Even as good guys at the time, were the Makuta always a little odd? For example, Mutran having a pet sentient rock? He seemed so nonchalant about leaving the rock there.
9Thanks in advance Greg  .
10- TLH

111) Yes, there is. 122) I don't want to reveal that yet, but I can tell you he isn't wearing it now. 133) Nah, that just came to me while I was writing :) I love it when stuff like that just clicks into place. 144) Oh, who knows what's ever going through my mind? :)5) Most likely trashed the building/block they were on. 156) Yes, the same way that, for example, someone might be human (by species), Chinese (by heritage), American (by citizenship), and a New Yorker (by geography). 167) Odd is a good word for it :)

1Some info for my possible epics that I couldn't find on BS01.
2Hello, Mr Farshtey. These are questions for the epics I will hopefully write.
3First-off, the Hordika and Visorak Questions. 41) After releasing a Rhotuka, would a Toa Hordika be able to immediately charge again? 51a) If yes, would a Hordika be able to launch a Rhotuka, grab onto it and start charging again? Would a Hordika be able to perform an awkward method of flight doing this?
62) Were all Visorak invading the islands part of Sidorak and Roodaka's army or are their other leaders of the Visorak?
73) If an Iron Hordika launched a Rhotuka which is supposed to turn into a metal spike, would the Rhotuka transform into the spike in midair or will it change on impact?
84) Are there other kind of Visorak we do not know about?
95) Are the Hordika's tools stave-like, like the former Metru's or is it just a coincidence?
106) Hordika's are physically stronger than normal Toa, but weaker when it comes to elemental powers, correct?
11Now for the Skakdi Questions: 121) Do all Skakdi have uniform vision powers per color? Do red Skakdi only have heat vision, or can they have other vision powers? 131a) How about their secondary powers? Can a blue Skakdi have the ability of adaptability?
142) Do all Skakdi possess the tools similar to the Piraka? 152b) Were they given their tools by Spiriah? 162a) If not, how did they come by them?
173) If Spiriah's experiments on the Skakdi proved succesful, would the BoM still want to kill him?
184) Are the North and South of Zakaz still fighting?
195) How do the Skakdi tame Tahtohrak?
206) If they were desperate, would the Skakdi purchase help from the Dark Hunters? 216a) If so, would they most likely pick other Skakdi?
22Thanks in advance, GregF.

231) Once the Rhotuka is released, you can't grab it and charge it up again. It's set. As for flight, the Hordika did just that in Web of Shadows. 242) They were all under the banner of S and R. 253) Impact 264) It's possible, but not likely 275) Not sure I get your question. 286) Weaker in terms of the fact that they can only use their elemental powers through their spinners. Their biggest weakness is the lack of mask powers.
291) They can have other powers, yes 301a) Yup 312) The Piraka's tools came from the Dark Hunters. 323) They were successful, in technical terms, the problem was that temperamentally, the Skakdi are just too aggressive and untrustworthy. They were a bad choice of subject. 334) Yup 345) Pretty much the same way you break a horse 356) Probably, yes 366a) Other Skakdi might be the only ones willing to work there.
