4No, I never said any of that, Takua. I haven't said anything to anyone about what is needed to wake Mata Nui. I think this person is assuming that because Tahu and his team are looking for the Ignika, they need it to wake him up. There's two problem with this theory:

1Brotherhood of the Barraki, there's a pretty obvious and easy reason not to go Nova even if your friends won't be killed-there's no guaruntee it will work. If Gali goes Nova, and the Makuta just fly up and out of the way, then the Nuva are down one member because her powers are completely drained, and they just got a huge advantage. Plus everyone will be really wet.

1In a way, a Water Toa's Nova doesn't seem that powerful. Sure a large amount of water(ie tidal wave) can destory things, and you can drown, or get wet. But something like a Fire Toa's Nova Blast seems more powerful, since it burns everything, and its more dangerous to use around your allies, but Tahu could use his mask of shielding to protect his teammates, so his Nova would be more useful (since you don't hurt your own teammates, like Jaller would've done).

4While this is starting to get off topic, I'd like to add my two cents on the matter. Being hit with water causes physical force while a fire nova wouldn't. Take for example what happened on Karzahni, Gali was able to go Nova and sweep Icarax as well as the other Nuva away. Had Tahu gone nova a burst of fire would engulf the area, no one would have moved any. Icarax is a Makuta who has heat resistant powers so going nova might not have done much more than put a strain on Tahu and destroy the island leaving a mass of stone and ash. Basically different elements= different advantages.
