1Sidorak wasn't such a dumb coward as he was pictured in the movie. The Makuta knew what they had of him and why they chose him for leading the Visorak.
2Not exactly...
3The worthless scum of a being called Sidorak stole the credit of others, gaining the notice of the MoMN, and became a servent of the BoM. He then stole credit for the idea of themutation of the Rahaga from Roodaka, and gaining his position as king as a result of his deception. Now go back to being on topic: OR ELSE:

6In places he stole credit, such as for ingenuity like the mutation of the Hagah. 7But he was a great military leader, capable of coming up with strategies and tactics. It was just politics he was no good at
1Hey Greg: As always, I only have a few questions- 2Apparently, you said that 2009 will take place in a non-domed universe. Don't you mean an island, or are we going to an entirely new universe?
3Sorry, GMN, but I can't add to what I have already said as 2009 is still extremely confidential.
4I was curious. I thought this might connect to what I have in my sig...

6I doubt that Sidorak got past MoMN without him noticing. I mean, if you were MoMN wouldn't you make sure that the person that you were electing to lead the largest army in the known universe was somewhat good at leading?
71) I am assuming they can, since Takua exists in the alt. universe - and although he is not in Takanuva form, they are still essentially the same being.
8So he decided that Takua is in the alternate dimsension. Very interesting, me thinks......
1Hey That Guy, those three sets you were talking about are fake. One has a Votilak and no hands, and the other is a spider with a Hydraxon head.
1Oh yeah, maybe they are like the Dutch promos from the past two years.
1I don't think so... They have the background and flight of this year.
1I'm saying that they are this year, but are Dutch promos.
1Oh, I thought you said that they were from the past two years... I must have misinterpreted you...
1It's okay. I see why you thought that.
1Oookkkkkaaaayyy, you just double-posted, I think, Rayg. Why?
1By accident, of course, it's no big deal.

2Hey Greg.
3I've got a few questions, so here goes:
4[ol type='1'[li]Would you put it past the Order to have a telepathic communicating system, simalar to a cellphone network?[li]Is Stelt Sidorak's island's official name? I've seen something about it on the BS01 Wiki.[li]Could there be more than two legendary masks? 3a) If Vakama hadn't merged the Great Disks, and had made 6 seperate masks of the 6 powers of the Disks, would the six masks be on a Legendary power level?[li]What is your favorite element, in terms of what you can do with it? 4a) To write about?[li]Is Xia the Northernmost island?[li]Is the Mask of Mutation canon, or was it scrapped completly?[li]The way I see it, parallel universes are created every time someone has a choice between something. So, I think that the Dark Mirror universe (Tuyetverse) is a "twin universe", as they were one universe split into two parallel ones, as apposed to a "pocket universe". Would I be correct, or am I thinking to hard?[li]As you described the Tuyetverse as a "pocket dimension" to the Matoran universe, does that mean that our Matoran universe is a main one, and Parallel universes spawn off it as soon as someone makes a choice? I see it differantly to that, but that's just my opinion.[/olThanks in Advance,
5R:ToG
61) Or something similar, yes, since the Makuta do 72) Yes, it is 83) Anything's possible, but we don't have plans to introduce a third into story. 93a) It's a good question. I tend to think not. I think, like disks with power levels 6 and below, the disks would have lost some power in the process of mask-masking and you would have had Great Masks. 104) Ice 115) No, Metru Nui is the northernmost island 126) Scrapped 137) You're thinking too hard. I favor the same theory you do, but for the purposes of BIONICLE, it needs to be a pocket dimension. 148) That is how it is working here. The difference between the two is that if the main universe is destroyed, a parallel universe would be unharmed. A pocket dimension, however, would cease to exist because it is attached to the main universe.

14)Is it possible that we will see more of the innovations of this year's sets?I.e. link-up, evil-good release split?
24) I believe the summer sets are also designed so that Matoran sets can link to them as well
31) Will these Matoran be the same Matoran we've already seen this year? 42) Will this feature in the story? 53) Will these Matoran come with the canister sets? 64) Will they be pacaged with larger sets?
7Thanks for answering if you can.
81) There are two other Matoran out in summer, in larger sets, but they will not be linking up with the summer sets in story.
91) So basically, the Summer canister sets linking up will just make them compatible with any 08 Matoran, but will have no real influence in the story?
10Correct.
1Well, it seems that they scrapped it completely, and that implies the name as well.
1he said no small sets.
1We still have artidax as the word for mutation. Unless they scrapped that as well.
2
3I've been kind of out of the loop lately, on account of the virus, so where did we get this information about an Artidax Mask of Mutation?
4On mutran's bio on BIONICLE.com, his mask was the Artidax, mask of mutation, but was later changed to Shelek to avoid confusion.
1How can it be approved if it's been scrapped?
1Here's one I got from Greg, nothing new though... (or not to my knowledge)
311: Aww... 322: Thought so, otherwise he would have been hunting him down I suppose... 333,4: Well, at least we WILL found out... 345: I suppose they do... 355b: It was a random guess anyway... 366: Not much of an advantage XD 377: I meant; they'd go after the MoMN first since he's the Makuta of that region (pretty much the Toa headquarters now); and the Toa and wiping out the Makuta for some reason, aren't they? 388: 399: Double 4010: So much for Nidhiki getting his fair share XD
2Hi Greg. I've just got a few storyline questions I hope you can answer for me if you have the time: Thanks in advance:
3I remember you answered this question for a member:
4If I remember correctly, you said that MoMN eliminated all Makuta that did not follow his plan. His predecessor is still alive though. So don't the other Makuta know about him still being around? Since if I had a plan to take over the world and I am part of an evil organisation I would get rid off my leader first if he opposes my plan. 5That gets explained later in the year. A clue -- MOMN did eliminate those who opposed him, but I never said he did it personally
61: Does this mean one of MoMN's 'eliminators' messed up or that another Makuta helped him escape? If it is one, can you say which (whether someone messed up or someone helped him?)
72: Does the MoMN know that his old leader is still alive?
83: What is the original leader doing on the 'volcanic' island/s? Hiding?
94: What would he have spent all his time doing since he was, er, 'ursurped' so to speak.
105: We know that the Federation of Fear team is headed off to retrieve the old leader, but; if you can answer it; how did the Order learn of his survival?
115b: Did Spirah (the rogue Makuta) tell them?
126: What use is Vezon on this suicide squad? Seeing as he lost all his powers; is he just there for cannon fodder? Or does he still have the 'self-repaired' Spear of Fusion with him?
13I've also got some questions on the Alternative Universe Takanuva is currently in:
14Now this is probably a big one, but:
157: Is the Makuta of Metru Nui still alive in that universe? Since you'd assume he'd be the first Tuyet, Nidhiki and allies would have gone after.
168: Is the MoMN the leader of the BOM in that universe? Or is the original leader still the leader, assuming he wasn't killed by Toa?
179: Since Mata Nui was never put to sleep; and the Mata would never have been 'launched' into the sea aboveground to re-awaken him; does that mean that they were never put in their pods to start with? Or did they never get launched, and were found by other Toa and 'recuited'?
1810: Since both Nidhiki and Tuyet turned against Lhikan, do they have a 'king and queen' sort of thing with the Toa Empire? Or is one of them soley Emperor/Empress?
19I'd like to thank you in advance again for taking the time to answer all these, Greg.
20Trans
211) Too early to answer this 222) No, he does not 233, 4) Again, you will find out when we get to him -- I don't want to give away future plot 245) The Order knows a lot of things. 255b) No, Spiriah didn't know. Spiriah knew where the island was, but not what was on it. 266) You know he has no powers .. I know it .. the Makuta do not know it. They have no experience with him at all. That's his advantage. 277) Why would he be the first they would go after? He had not rebelled against Mata Nui yet in that universe. 288) Again, follow the story and find out. I don't want to tell the entire story in PMs on BZP. 299) See answer to #8 3010) Tuyet is sole ruler. Nidhiki does not have the kind of power to be considered on her level.
1Hi Greg,I have a question which I would like to ask.
2What did Icarax had in mind when he set shadow leeches on Takanuva? Is it:
3A)To drain part or all of Takanuva's light power to make him less dangerous to Makuta. (And maybe replacing it with shadow) 4To kill him. 5C)To trap him in an alternate universe. 6D)To grant him extra powers for unknown reasons. (HIGHLY UNLIKELY) 7E)A combination of 2 or more of the above. (If yes, can you state them?) 8F)None of the above. 9G)Everything that happened to Takanuva went according to plan.
10And one more thing. Were the extra shadow powers granted to him intentionally? 11Thank you for your time.
12A) Yes 13You can't kill someone with a shadow leech 14C) Can't do that with a shadow leech either 15G) It didn't go according to plan, because Takanuva was not completely drained of Light. But Icarax has nothing to do with him ending up in the alt. dimension, that was an accident. 16H) It's inevitable that if you lose your light, shadow replaces it and hence some control of shadow. Darkness is, after all, the absence of light.
17Ah, so much unknown...
1Greg said that Atridax or whatever it was wouldn't be a Mask of Mutation if reintroduced. Lemme find that pm...
17Some older questions that I forgot to post.
2I have some questions again. 31. Was Karzahni's Olisi functioning while underwater? 42. Now that Karzahni is on Daxia, is he in the form he had before going underwater (like when he met Jaller) or does he look the same as underwater, just that he breathes air 53. About the Atridax, if it came back into the storyline as a mask, would it still be a mask of mutation? 64. You said if MOMN came back in a body, he would expect that Icarax give him the Kraahkan back. Would Icarax comply? 75. Why was Takadox chosen out of the Barraki? Because of his betrayal? 86. In Federation of Fear, you call Roodaka a Xian. This is just a mistake, correct, and Roodaka is really a Vortixx, right? Or is she both? 97. I don't know if you can answer this, but I've heard members saying that the other Nuva will not have Skyblasters. Is this true?
101) Yes. If you followed the web serials, he used it at least twice. 112) Same as underwater. The OOMN does not have the ability to reverse mutagen mutations. 123) Probably not, no. 134) If he knew what was good for him, yes 145) In part, yes. Of all six Barraki, Takadox is the one most likely to be willing to go along with this, because if they send him back to his comrades, he will get executed by them. 156) Technically, she is both. For example, my wife used to live in New York City. So she is a human by species, a woman by gender, a Haitian by heritage, and a New Yorker by geography. Roodaka is a female by gender, a Vortixx by species, and a Xian by geography. 167) In summer? That's correct.
17Some older questions that I forgot to post.
18Hi Greg, it's been a long time since I sent some quesitons, but I had a few more.
191. Is it true that you have decided to change Mutran's Atridax back to Shelek? Or is the Atridax in the shape of the Shelek, like how Norik's Pehkuii is in the shape of a Kiril? I just prefer the latter... 202. Do the 7 Matoran being released in Winter have masks that you just can't spare any names on? 213. If Makuta came back in a body, would he demand that Icarax give him his Kraahkan back? 224. What did Icarax wear before the Kraahkan? 235. Does adaptive armor only add little things like jetpacks for air, scuba fins for water, etc.? Does it change the outline of the armor a little, like a sleeker outline, bulkier, while maintaining the same general shape? Or does it make an entirely new shape? 246. Was MOMN blinded (sorry, been a little out of the storyline for a while)? 257. The reason that Sarda and Idris have tubes (besides the fact that set designers made them that way) is because of their prolonged exposure to the mutagen, correct? 268. The Mahri no longer have their gill tubes as they now breathe air, correct? 279. About the Nuvas' new masks, did they change just for the new environment, or did Artahka upgrade them and now the masks are permanent like that? 2810. Is Maxilos still operational? 2910b. If not, is Spinax still changed to it? 3011. Is Hydraxon still the pit jailor, or is he Dekar again? 3112. What's going to happen to Karzahani? Is he going to lie in the cave for 2008? 3213. Is it cumbersome for Kopaka to have to swing his large launcher around in order to use his melee weapon? 3314. Does Maxilos have more powers from his blackfire sword that you're not going to reveal? 3415. Do all Maxilos-style automatons have the same fighting style, weapons, powers, or do some have different training for a different purpose?
35All for now. Thanks in advance:
361) It's too confusing to do the latter, so I am changing it. I still get PMs from people who think Norik wears a Kiril. It's not worth it. 372) They have Matoran masks, which therefore have no power. If I name them and assign them powers that won't ever be used this year, then I paint myself into a corner if the set designers decide to reuse those pieces for other characters later on. I'd rather not do that if it isn't necessary for story that I do so. 383) I think he would expect that, yes 394) Not something I have worried about, although if I do an Icarax flashback somewhere (and I may) then I would need to identify it. 405) At this point, it seems to primarily adjust to suit an environment, as opposed to adding a ton more mass or radically changing shape. 416) No. He was in the Pit when the explosion went off in Karda Nui. 427) It's because they were exposed, period. If the water touches any part of you, you are exposed. 438) They have the tubes, they simply are no longer functional 449) The masks are adaptive as well 4510) No, Maxilos was trashed 4610b) Spinax is with his original master, Hydraxon 4711) Still Hydraxon 4812) Karzahni was taken by the Order at the end of the Lesovikk web serial to a place of confinement on Daxia 4913) Nope 5014) As Maxilos? No. He's a robot, he doesn't have a ton of powers, just what he needs to do his job. 5115) They were all intended as guards and hunters, so they are all manufactured pretty much the same
1Well, my friends talked me into asking this for them:
21) Why doesn't Brutaka's team just travel using the Olmak?
3Thanks. 4~CN
51) Given the dangers of this kind of travel and the number of pocket dimensions one can encounter, I don't think Brutaka wants to take the chance of team members slipping away en route to places from which he could not easily retrieve them.
6Nothing much, but sharing is good.
7~CN
8I find that interesting. It shows that Brutaka cares about his team.
9Of course he dosen't, he just dosen't want them teleported to the wrong place where they could get weapons and destroy.
1Hey again Greg, I've just got a few assorted questions. By the way, great job with the serials. 1) In Federation of Fear, are the "blue and grey" fellows that Takadox hypnotizes members of Krekka's species? 22) Something I'm just confused about. In Dreams of Destruction, Karzahni gives Makuta a vision of Mata Nui "rising". The thing I don't understand is, how did Makuta know it was Mata Nui had risen if he doesn't know Mata Nui's form? Or is it like Mata Nui's revival, where the effect was felt rather than seen? 33) Another thing I'm confused about, why can't the Phantoka Makuta use their quick healing ability to regain their sight? Or is it just that the damage to their eyes was too extensive to be repaired? 44) Just to clarify, Stelt is both the island name and the name of Sidorak's species, right? 5Thanks Greg: 6-Ax-
71) Yes 82) You can just feel it. It doesn't feel like anything else in the universe would. 93) It's sort of like saying why can't a good carpenter just fix a building that's burned to ashes. There's nothing to heal, there's no place to start, it's just gone. 104) Stelt is the island name, it is not the name of Sidorak's species. Steltian would be a geographic name for both Sidorak and Krekka's species (like New Yorker or Bostonian) but not a species name for either.
11There we go, nothing too big. -Ax-
1Hello Mr. Farshtey. I understand that you are a very busy man. Though it would be appreciated if you could answer some questions for me:
2Concerning light & shadow: 31) Can the Avsa drain the Toa Nuva? Ignika? (of inner light) 41b) If I were to ask you whether Vamprah would drain the Nuva, Taka, or Ignika, you'd just say that you can't reveal future storyline, right? 52) Can the Toa Ignika even be drained?
6Concerning Kanohi: 73) Would a Toa wear the 'dark' Kanohi? (Kraahkan, Shelek, Jutlin, Avsa) 83b) How about the OOMN? Would any of their members wear said Kanohi?
9Concerning the Federation of Fear: 104) Assuming Brutaka is the only armed being in FoF, meaning the others have no weapons whatsoever, don't Spiriah's Jutlin (assuming he has neither Tridax nor Midak), Takadox's claws, and Carapar's pincers count as weapons? 114b) What's to keep Takadox from simply hypnotising Brutaka? Is it because of the telephatic shielding Brutaka has? 124c) Is Spiriah's Matoran already with him prior to FoF, or do they meet during the serial?
13Thank you for your time. And have a good day, Mr. Farshtey.
141) Nuva, yes. Ignika, not sure, since it is not strictly a living being, it's an object with a body. 151b) Yes, I would 162) You already asked this in question 1 173) Not if he could avoid it 183b) Don't put anything past OOMN members 194) Takadox's claws and Carapar's pincers are natural tools, they aren't weapons that can be taken away from them, anymore than someone could take your fists or your teeth easily. And Spiriah has no reason to use his mask out of turn, because if he does, Brutaka will drop him on the BOM's doorstep in a heartbeat. 204b) Yes. You can't hypnotize someone who is mentally shielded against intrusion. 214c) That gets dealt with in the story
22Just some stuff I was curious about. Although we now know that Toa wouldn't wear Dark Kanohi by choice, and that members of the OOMN just might. The part about Spiriah's Matoran appearing during the story and not before was new to me.
1Well, my friends talked me into asking this for them:

9Of course he dosen't, he just dosen't want them teleported to the wrong place where they could get weapons and destroy.
10And escape? 11In my opinion, except for Roodaka, the team don't really have anywhere to go anymore and doesn't attempt to escape.
1Quite a while since I don't post here... anyways, here are some Q&A...
2QUOTE 3Greetings Mr. Farshtey. It's been quite a while since I last took your time with my questions....well I hope these ones will at least be interesting:
4The first one is quite difficult for it is about things wich are already 3 years old (sorry about that u.u):
51)Does the comic 25 of the Metru Nui Saga (Birth of the Rahaga) take place in Destral? I mean, Norik and Iruini are assaulting a BOM fortress with their captured brothers inside... I just though it could be...by any chance...
62)It may be just me, but...is the inika's mask transformation into organic masks thanks to the Red Star some kind of clue to the 2009 (and beyond) storyline? (it's a wierd question, i'm sorry..)
73)You once said that Brutaka didn't use his olmak to transport his team to the southern volcanoes because he didnt want to get lost in some pocket universe... if he doesn't want to take the risk, then why does he use it with Takanuva if he has to accomplish an even more crucial mission?
84)Now that I think of it, the OoMN is quite doomed because of the BoM plan. I mean, they are about to reveal themselves to the world, and by doing that, the Makuta won't have anymore hidden enemies, and will have an easier time defeating all of them, isn't it?
91) Norik and Iruini did indeed lead the Hagah in an invasion of Destral to actually get the Mask of Light. 102) No. 2009 story had not been planned yet when the 2006 sets were being designed. 113) It's not that he doesn't want to get lost -- it's that he doesn't want his team members escaping into pocket dimensions along the way. He can't trust this group to stay together if they have the chance to bolt. 124) Unless the OOMN beats the BOM, which they would pretty much have to do -- otherwise, the BOM will beat them and they will all be dead anyway and their secrecy or lack of it won't matter.
13And here another little confirmation:
14QUOTE 151)Is the voya nui hexagonal matoran alphabet the same alphabet used in the BIONICLE mainland? I thought it could make some sense...
161)Makes sense to me

11) About how many Av-Matoran live in Karda Nui in total? 22) About how many villages are in Karda Nui? 33) Why did the Av-Matoran change to look like the basic colors? Or were they forced? 44) Are the Mazeka and the Phantoka communicating? The Toa? If so, how?
5Thanks:
6MB has spoken
71) Few hundred 82) About five, I believe 93) It's really by reflex. Av-Matoran are taught from the time they are created to disguise their nature using their control of light (and hence how the eye perceives color). 104) Mazeka has not come into the story yet at all, so it's much too early to discuss him. (I'm not really sure on the basis of your question -- who is it you think Mazeka is)?
11Sorry... I guess I misread somewhere and thought Mazeka was the name of the summer sets... So my real question: 124) Are the summer sets and the Makuta communicating? The Toa? If so, how?
13Sorry for the misinterpretation:
14MB has spoken
154) The Makuta can communicate telepathically, the Toa do not have that ability, they need to be face to face to talk.
16MB has spoken
1Greg said this Mazeka has not appeared in the storyline, right? What if he appeared not as Mazeka, with another name, maybe?
1Hi. These are just some questions I forgot.
21) Do Bionicles cry?
32) Storyline-wise, we've never really seen behind a toa or matorans mask, if you look at the movies. So I was wondering whether underneath the mask they look completely different to the sets or basically the same.
43) A while ago, you said that since the Makuta have never met Vezon before, then would that mean that they could somewhat say that Vezon had hidden abilities or something? Or a dangerous history?
54) I know that the Makuta don't nescessarily hate each other, but is it possible maybe that they have something of a disliking of a particular Makuta, but they can still stand to work with them? If they do then who?
65) A while ago, I asked what the strange substance was that Avak found after Zaktan had dealt with the Toa of Plasma. You said that it hadn't been revealed. Will it be revealed soon? 75a) Is the Toa of Plasma in question, still alive?
86) Did Umbra have a life before guarding the MoLi?
97) MoMN's name will soon be revealed, but my question is, will it be revealed as someone talking to MoMN (If he's still alive) someone thinking about him or someone talking about him, using his name.
108) Will there be a death at the end of this year too?
119) In the swamp of secrets, will the secret be an artifact or a living being or Kanohi?
1210) The creatures in the red star, do they, by any chance, have anything to do with the Ignika? 1310a) If so, then do they have anything to do with the countdown?
1411) Does Toa Ignika go by the same code as the Toa? By that I mean, is he willing to kill if he get's the chance?
1512) If a Toa goes nova, everything around this toa dies, right? If so, then does the toa who went nova survive, or do they go with everything else?
161) I tend to doubt it, since I do not believe they would have tear ducts. 172) The same 183) Yes 194) Various ones have clashed at times with various others, but the only one they all dislike is Spiriah. 205) No. It's not relevant to current story and there really is no way to work it in. 215a) Hasn't been revealed 226) No 237) Another Makuta talking about him 248-9) I can't discuss future storyline 2510) No 2611) He is capable of killing, because he is not a Toa -- he just wants to be -- and he doesn't really understand how living beings work or why you wouldn't kill an enemy. 2712) Depends -- Gali went nova in Karzahni and the other Toa didn't die, because she shared her water-breathing power with them.
28Just a few things I was wondering about. 10's rather interesting.
