1I have but two questions. I hope you respond. 21a) Are the mini promos seen in the latest BZP news story canon? 31b) If so, could the two at the end be Mutran or Chirox experiments?
4No, EU-only promo sets are never part of the storyline, for the simple reason that I don't see them untl you guys do and by then storyline for the year is set and done.
5Something about the promos.
1Kind of an old PM, the only one that is interesting is number 10.
2(I think this message might have gotten eaten by the server the first time, sorry if I am mistaken)
3Hey Greg, how is everything? I just have a few questions I would like to ask...
41)So can we officially call Takanuva a Toa of Twilight(for the wiki)?
52)Would you say the breathing aparatuses worn by Takadox, Carapar, and Brutaka are similar in appearance to the old fashioned diving helmets?
63)Is the apparatus filled with water, or does it allow them to breath air?
74)I don't this has been asked yet: Do the Makuta know that they have to leave the core or the Ignika will turn black and kill everything?
85)I know that Mantax would never work with Takadox, and Kalmah and Pridak are too proud to follow Brutaka, but why didn't the order take Ehlek?
96)When the OOMN took Takadox, how close was it to the moment where the other Barraki would have killed him?
107)Does Icarax have a huge edge over any other Makuta when it comes to hand-to-hand combat? Because his stats on bionicle.com are incredible...
118)So pretty much the only reason that the Makuta don't just kill the Nuva is because they need them to awaken Mata Nui?
129)From the moment the Nuva enter Karda Nui, about how long is it until the Ignika kills off everyone?
1310)The OOMN is not aware of the Ignika-turns-black situation, is it?
14-TBC
151) No, the official term would be Light and Shadow 162) That's how I see them, or the ones the Atlanteans used in early issues of Fantastic Four 173) Filled with water 184) They do know about the countdown, yes 195) Ehlek, being an ocean dweller naturally, is simply too alien to really care about what is going on on the surface world. 206) Oh, they have been close to that moment since the pursuit of Matoro ended 217) He is much more experienced in it than most Makuta, yes 228) They need them for something, that seems obvious 239) Couple days, probably 2410) No, they're not. They are, however, aware of another potential threat in the core of which the BOM is ignorant .
1I got some quick questions for you. There may be more to come 21) Can a toa of stone control crztals? 32) Can a toa of stone take some surronding stone and put it on too his body making armor out of stone? 43) What happened to the Piraka's lungs? Did they transfer to their spines 54) Is there a type of universal cunrency?
61) No 72) Not really any reason to do so, since Toa armor is harder than most stone. 83) They no longer have lungs, they are not air-breathers anymore 94) Matoran use widgets, but that is not necessarily accepted in non-Matoran lands
101) Why not? I mean crztal's are made of minreals, which is what rocks are made of 114) How do matoran pay the Dark Hunters and Xians
125) What happend to the Jaller/Kalmah deal 136) When are we going to learn about the red star thing? 147) I heard 09 is taking place out of the Matoran Universe. True or false?
151) Because if you say stone to the average 8-9 year old kid, he doesn't think of crystals, he thinks of rocks -- and this story is being written for 8-9 year old kids. I don't have time in it to explain in story that crystals are really minerals, the same as rocks. 164) Matoran don't hire Dark Hunters, and they pay Xia usually with goods in trade. 175) Jaller never intended to keep that deal. Toa are not hired killers. 186) Not for a while yet 197) True
205) So what do he say to Kalmah
215) He didn't need to say anything to him. Kalmah's a villain, it's not like Jaller has to apologize to him for not becoming a murderer.
228) Are the people in the fof armed
238) Not yet, no. Brutaka will give them weapons when they are going to need them, not before. 24Some stuff I got from Greg, number 1 is rellay annoying

1Actually, the Matoran Universe is just anything inside the domes. The surface is not part of the Matoran Universe and Karda Nui might not be either.
1Below are the answers to questions that I asked GregF recently:
21) Now since the OoMN are getting ready for war against the BoM, will they have weapons that shot Zamor fill with Energized Protodermis to kill the Makuta? I mean light based weapons could help, but I am not sure if you confirm that 3they could kill a Makuta, while it was shown in the Voya Nui saga that Energized Protodermis can do the job very easily. 41) What if you shoot EP at a Makuta and he is destined to be transformed by it, and winds up way bigger and more powerful? EP is dangerous stuff to play around with. 5C1) I am bit confused here by your answer for that meant the Toa Inika took a very huge risk of using Energized Protodermis on the Matoran to remove the Antidermis for who to say it wouldn't have made the Antidermis stronger to maybe even over shadowed the Matoran's mind to Makuta's will. Then again, it could be saying that MoMN is destined to die. *shrug* 6C1) They did indeed take a risk, but they had nothing else they could use as an effective weapon.
72) Considering that Zaktan is in OoMN custody, will the Order discover the BoM's plan from him? I mean there like two masks (Mask of Truth and Mask of Mind Reading) that could reveal the plan to them, if they use them. It would be helpful for them too in my opinion. 82) We'll see. 9C2) Is that a 'We'll see' in the future or a 'We'll see', if you have time to do something with them? 10C2) That's most likely a "we'll see in the future," probably second half of the year
113) When Takanuva was whole, could he absorb all the light in a room to surround himself in shadows, so he can't be seen? 123) Yes
134) Am I right to assume that my Brickmaster Magazine saying Chirox made the Shadow leeches is wrong? I am asking for BS01 say it was Mutran, who made them. 144) They were both involved. 15C4) Oh...So, should someone edit BS01 with this information then? I am not a member there, so I can't. 16C4) If they want to, they can.
175) Also how exactly will winner of the build a Makuta contest be include in the storyline, if all the 2008 books been written? 185) Web serials. 19C5) So, the Web Serials are where this so call Makuta from the contest will appear. Hmm...That make sense considering that some don't know there is books, but know of bioniclestory.com. 20C5) Also, the books are almost all written already -- the last one for 2008 is due in February, and the contest deadline is not until March. 21DC5) Oh. My bad, I thought the books were all done. Sorry about that.
226) Just out of curious. There are female species of Sidorak's and Krekka's people on Stelt, correct? 236) That's likely, yes 24C6) That's good.
257) Is there any sort of education faculty for young members of Sidorak's and Krekka's species on Stelt? 267) Nope. Remember, there are no "young" in BIONICLE, because there are no children. 27C7) Um, you misunderstand my question there, Mr. Farshtey. I was saying if newly created members of their species, wouldn't they need to be education on what they were to do in life or does the newly created being already know what to do as if the information was implant in their minds since creation? I wasn't talking about children, since I already know Bionicle don't reproduce like we do. If you need me to explain more, feel free to ask. 28C7) We know that in Ga-Metru they had schools, but only Ga-Matoran attended them. Other Matoran learn their trade essentially through apprenticeships, not through actual sit-down schooling.
298) Is there a term for natives of Stelt like Xians for Vortixx on Xia? Stelters? Steltans? I am asking for saying Sidorak's and Krekka's species, when talking about Stelt population, tend to be long term to use when talking of their people. It would be a mouthful, if we were talking in person most likely. Of course, I can't say any Bionicle words, so you wouldn't understand me anyway. But that beside the point, I just think having a term like that would be better than taking another thousand dollar name from the list. 308) My guess is that they go by their individual species names, since neither species much wants to be associated the other beyond where they have to be. 31C8) Oh, that makes sense.
329) Am I right to believe that the reason the Federation of Fear went to Stelt because of Xia being Monster City at the moment, so it was only place that possibly have a boat to buy from nearby? Or is Stelt just happen to be the best place to go boat shopping? 339) Stelt was on the way ... also Brutaka doesn't particularly want to run into the Toa Hagah when he has Roodaka in tow, since they would want her back. 34C9) Brutaka knows of the Toa Hagah? I am guessing he had some trouble with getting Roodaka from them, if he does. But why exactly do they want Roodaka, so much? I mean sure they probably want revenge on her for turning them into the Rahaga, but beside that she really of no important to them. 35C9) The Hagah want to bring her to justice. In their shoes, so would I. Why would they want her running around free and potentially turning them back into Rahaga?
3610) Do the members of the Federation of Fear all have their weapons for in Chapter 2, it sound like Roodaka didn't have a her Rhotuka spinner with her? 3710) No, they don't. Brutaka is not going to trust them with weapons at this point. They will get them when they need them, not before. 38C10) Oh, I can see why he wouldn't trust them. Hopefully he will give Vezon a weapon, when they need them. I mean he is a good distraction for them, but beside that he just has his wits and Skakdi's strength.
3911) Is it correct believe that other alternative universe are possible to exist or is the Toa Empire Universe, the only one? 4011) Other pocket dimensions do exist, yes. Some could be alts of the main universe, some have no relationship to it at all.
4112) Are Mata Nui's bad dreams at all related to the Shadow Leeches? Note: I am not saying the Shadow Leeches are steal Mata Nui's light, since that probably impossible. I am asking if the Shadow Leeches, are the cause of events in these bad dreams. I assume you will probably say Can't Answer, since this is asking about the events in Mata Nui's dreams, but I thought I should ask and see. 4212) Has a lot more to do with Makuta being in the core than with shadow leeches.
4313) Carapar is the only one in the FoF with a weapon, correct? *His Crab claws* 4413) That's not a weapon, though, those are natural tools.
4514) Considering that Brutaka's species get stronger by taking in Antidermis, do you think the OoMN will gather some up for the war against the BoM? With them on their side, they just need to break the Makuta's shell and let the members of Brutaka's species feasted on the Makuta's Antidermis. 4614) Except that we have no idea what Brutaka's species is like and whose side they would take. Just because he was an OOMN member doesn't mean they would all side with the OOMN.
4715) Are there others of Gladiator's species or is he one of kind? 4815) I would need to go look him up, it has been years since I wrote that book.
4916) Will there be anymore Guide books in the future? Just wondering, since the guide books tend to have a lot of cool information. I still need to get a quite few of them though. Next time, I go to Borders, I'll probably ordered the books that I am missing. I got all the regular books though, so I am good there. Hmm...2008 sets wouldn't be bad thing to get either. *feels torn between what do with his money* 5016) There aren't any planned for this year. We talked some about maybe doing one for next year, but I don't have a publishing schedule for 2009 at this point.
51*Note: All GregF's answers are in bold .* Well, that all I have for now. I may have more to add, if I PM him again with more questions.

1Good day, Master Farshtey.
21) Mata Nui means Great Spirit. Metru Nui means Great City. Voya Nui means Great Voyage. What do Mahri and Karda mean?
32) Do Makuta have ears? If they do, how come Antroz, Vamprah, and Chirox don't use echolation to "see"?
43) Where is Stelt (in comparison to Mata Nui)?
54) How come when the Toa Inika (as Matoran) were looking for the Toa Nuva with Takanuva, they got separated? I heard it was a barrier, and if it was, who made it?
65) Was getting Tuyet's Nui Stone part of the BoM's plan?
7I thank you dearly, Master.
81) Unofficially, I see Mahri as meaning "ocean" and "karda" as meaning core or heart.
92) Because they don't have a sonar ability. They have a sonics ability. Two different things. Sonar bounces sound waves off physical objects. Sonics smashes the physical objects to bits, making it kind of useless for echolocation.
103) Well, Mata Nui is over Metru Nui, and Stelt is south of Metru Nui.
114) There is a barrier on the way to Karzahni that prevents those with Light power from entering. My own theory is that the OOMN placed it there to prevent Av-Matoran from accidentally winding up in Karzahni, once the sea routes were closed off.
125) It was a side plan, much the same way corrupting the Av-Matoran is
13Hey Mr. Farshtey:
141) Are the "giant titans of 2008" smaller or bigger than Kardas (whom I have heard is the largest BIONICLE set yet)?
152) Is "Miserix" derived from "miserable"?
163) Does anyone in the BIONICLE universe know of the word "Bionicle"?
174) I am CLUELESS on what happened before Matoro died. When the Mahri destroyed the cord, why did Voya Nui drift towards the? And How did Matoro get to Karda Nui?
18Thank ya:
191) Don't know the piece count comparison, etc. 202 No 213) Yes - see the movies, Vakama often refers to the "way of the BIONICLE." 224) When the cord was severed, Voya Nui was essentially free of the anchor that had held it in place. It was then drawn back to its original continent. Why? Because the Staff of Artakha was being used at the same time (in the Gali Nuva Blog) which repaired all damage done by the Great Cataclysm. That included Voya Nui breaking off the continent.
23Matoro swam after Voya Nui and was able to slip past it before it sealed the hole it had made in the Karda Nui dome back when it first broke off.
24Hey Greg, got some questions:
251) When the OoMN strike, will we see more members of the Order, as well as appearances of Johmak, Tobduk, and Jerbraz?
262) Did Vican originally reside in Metru Nui?
273) Where is the Vahi now?
284) Did every Toa Hagah base their mask off of a "past hero"?
295) How did Tahu and Kopaka reach the volcanoes they were supposed to destroy?
306) Now that the Mahri are back in Metru Nui, are they helping rebuild it, or is the Staff of Artakha doing all the work?
31Thanks:
321) I can't discuss future storyline 332) No 343) With Vakama 354) Yes 365) Toa canister from Daxia 376) SoA repaired any damage done by the quake.
38Some interesting stuff...
1Qo the Bat-Things in this view of Karda Nui have storyline signifigance?
2A:No
3Darn. I was hoping they would.
1Just some questions I asked Greg:
21) Do the Phantoka Makuta have a base on Karda Nui where they rest, or are they always on the move? 31b) What about the toa?
42) On biosector it says more will be revealed about the bohrok in Swamp of Secrets, is this true? 52b) If so do they have a big role?
63) Are the Toa nuva very far from each other, or could pohatu fly down to the swamp and say hi to Onua?
74) Someone asked if those are the Av-matoran's real colors, and you said by reflex they change there color because they are always hiding. But you also said that only Av-matoran are in the core, so whats the point of hiding in that color unless they make trips to the surface for supplies, so do Av-matoran ever go to the surface?
85) In one of the bohrok vids, a pahrak creates a disk of energy and throws it, is this canon?
96) Do the nuva have anyway of comminicating incase they need help?
10Thank You.
111) They have hives and caverns 121b) The Toa mainly use the lone remaining Matoran village. 132) Yes 142b) No. 153) Pohatu could fly down to the swamp, yes 164) You already answered your own question -- "by reflex" means you do it automatically, without thinking about it. 175) Not to my knowledge 186) No

1Same thing with me, Makuta Krahkan... either the server ate our messeges and we'll have to resend, or Greg just hasn't gotten to our most recent PMs yet.
2Got some old ones though. They were new at the time I asked them. Not really sure about now.
3Hey Greg, there's a couple of things I've been curious about, especially the Makuta, and I hope you had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year .
41. On the updated Bionicle websitie, in Icarax's bio, it claims he's the Makuta of Metru Nui and he was the one who imposed as Dume and... well it claimed him as good old MoMN... this is just a mistake correct?
52. Is the MoMN going to be involved in the story much this year at all? He isn't a set, but he IS the main villain isn't he?
63. Would using the Avsa to suck a matoran's light relentlessly end up with a result such as Radiak? Or if multiple shadow leaches were taking his light? What I'm asking is, the more light that is taken away, does it affect the Matoran's transformation, or would it be the same, and is just a reflection of their darker side? 73a. If the second is the case, judging by his more evil appearance, would this mean Radiak has an even darker side than the other two shadow matoran?
84. The mutation experts seem a little crazy. Both mad scientists who love to fight with cunning and skill. Is there something about mutation that drives a Makuta crazy? Or is it just their little quirks?
9That's all this time, thanks Greg:
101) Correct, it's a mistake 112) This year really focuses more on the rest of the Brotherhood, MOMN is busy elsewhere 123) Their appearance (wings, claws, etc.) is courtesy of fun and games by Chirox and Mutran. Only their transformation from normal to corrupt is affected by the Avsa 134) I think what they are doing is by nature so horrible that it tends to require someone who is a little off.
14QUOTE 15Dear Mr. Farshtey,
161. If Cordak rockets are made out of metallic protodermis, doesn't that mean, if a Toa of Iron is wielding a blaster, he wouldn't only be able to fire the rockets, but be able to track them onto targets; give them a little homing system?
172. I bought Bionicle Legends#8 Downfall, and i noticed two spelling errors on the word 'Cordak'... twice it was spelled 'Cordah'... just thought I'd mention it, it's on pages 63, and... I cannot seem to find the second place it was mispelled, but I thought you might want to know. Anyways, I know spoilers aren't allowed yet, so all I'm going to say is that it was... a little cramped (but considering Scholastic's cutdown on books... quite understable.), but still incredibly done. I finally understand what you meant by telling the one BZuser how re-releasing the piraka was pointless .
183. Haha, now onto a question that does not deal with Cordaks. I've seen you say that you are not allowed to read fanfiction. There is a reason for this, and if you have time to sum it up quickly I'd like to hear why this is.
194. You said 2004 was your favorite year at one point... is this going to change as Bionicle's first story comes to a close? 2008 seems like a pretty impressive year, haha.
205. When Matoro resurects Mata-Nui... you said the mask of life, in and of itself, cannot resurrect a dead body. You said something else needs to be powered with the mask to do this. This object to power the mask enough to bring back the dead... it is a spirit correct?
216.Kind of off-topic and not really Bionicle at all, but do you have any pets?
227. Just a little bit of clarification... If a Toa of Air knew where a storm was, could he shift the wind currents to bring it to where he is? Or since it is a storm, would he need a Toa of Water help him to do this?
238. You seem to relate a lot of Bionicle to Star Wars, especially with the whole 'light drainage' thing, and every now and then to Avatar: The Last Airbender... so it's safe to assume Bionicle takes influences from these, right? (Considering all the major plot twists and depths of some of these mysteries, haha...) 248a. If so, which one of these do you like more? (SW and A:TLA)
259. Is this 'light drainage' concept a recent development by the storyline team? OR has this been in your heads for a while? Just curious,
26Thank you for your time, sir:
271) Most likely, but since we do not have a Toa of Iron using that weapon in story, kind of a moot point. 282) Not really much I can do about that at this point. 293) Simple -- it's the same reason that the LEGO Company will not look at fan submissions for product ideas (unless we invite people to submit them). If we make a policy of not looking at such things, and make it loud and clear that we do not, then we won't have people accusing us of stealing their ideas. So, for example, the policy on product suggestions is that if we see something that looks like it might be that, it goes directly to Consumer Service who send out a form letter thanking the person for the submission and explaining that we cannot accept such things unsolicited. For me, the easiest thing to do is just make clear I do not read fan fiction, ever, which also spares me from requests to evaluate people's work (which I do not have the spare time to do). 304) No, probably not. 2004 was the first year I got to do novels for the full year, so it has a soft spot in my heart. 315) It was Matoro converted to energy -- body, mind and spirit. 326) No. I used to have cats, but my wife is allergic so I had to adopt them out. 337) He would need a Toa of Water to help him create a storm, not move one. Wind currents, like a jetstream, can move a storm in and of themselves, so he can. 348) Actually, I would say no -- I am not a Star Wars fan, though I saw some of the movies many years ago, and I've never seen any Avatar episodes. I think a better way to approach this is that there are certain conventions of the sci-fi and sci-fantasy genre that have appeared in SW and Avatar and BIONICLE and comic books and numerous other things over the years. A number of things that come out that people hail as innovative and new ring familiar to me because they remind me of comic plots from the early '70s, and that probably date back far earlier than that. There really isn't a lot that's "new" in most genre works, just different ways of presenting things. 359) It is relatively new, due to the changes in the storyline made in late 2006. 36[/QUOTE]
37But so yeah... just some old stuff.

1Hey Greg, I've got a few questions for you:
21) Can a Makuta alter the appearance of his/her Kanohi?
32) Will we ever meet any of the female Makuta?
43) Are Makuta affected by the Pit Mutagen?
54) What happens to a Makuta's Kanohi when he/she shapeshifts into a form that cannot wear Kanohi?
6Thanks in advance,
7Frozen Fire
81) Yes 92) Yes 103) Yes 114) It would shapeshift to look like something other than a Kanohi, most likely a face
12Just a few interesting bits about the Makuta
13Hey Greg, got another question...
141) Will we ever see the rest of the Toa Hagah, or do you see them as too insignificant to the story?
15Thanks again,
16Frozen Fire
17If they appear again, it will most likely be in a summer web serial
18Nice bit about the Hagah...
19Hey Greg, got a couple questions for you:
201) Will we ever find out why Mata Nui is the same shape as Metru Nui?
212) Why does Mata Nui even exist if the Great Beings want it to be lifeless and barren?
22Thanks in advance,
23Frozen Fire
241-2) Can't answer it, but on #2 -- we have land masses in our world that are barren and do not support plant life -- are you saying there is no reason for them to exist?
25And a little bit about geography.
1to me the fact that matanui looks like metru nui is due to being the nuva's landing place. its like a land mark. you wouldnt miss a massive island looking like metru nui
1Hello there Greg. Will you release winter Makuta´s assigned regions along with Mutran´s and Miserix´s in The Mutran´s Chronicles? 2Thank you for you answer
3I haven't decided where I am going to give that info out yet. I can tell you Miserix did not have an assigned region, he ran the BOM from Destral.
4Oh, thank you Is it possible for you to reveal Icarax´s previous mask in The Mutrans Chronicles? Like you did with Nikila in a web serial last year because I think that a lot of his fans, such as me, would love to know it.
5I can probably arrange that
6So Icarax´s previous mask will probably appear in one of the web serials.

7Yay: that's good.
1a few more questions
2Hi greg a few more q's for you to answer:
31a) if you had a drop of mutagen on your finger would you be fully mutated? 41b)Is voya nui bay "normal" water because of vezok uses his harpoon there and zaktan is splashed in there by nuparu?
52 In BL2 avak says he was sent to the BoM by the DH to get his powers, does this mean he was absent when spiriah did his work? 6if so how did he get his vision power?
73) Does spiriah wonder why vezon hasn't got a spine?
84) Will Zaktan tell the OoMN about the BoM secret chamber
95) If Antroz cut ignikas arm off could he rebuild it?
106) Is maxilo's face based on the hau because he is an OoMN robot and it looks kinda like lhikans hau in plastic.
117)
12QUOTE 132a) Is there any way the toa nuva could regain their forgotten memories? 14b)The matoran of mata/metru nui? 15c) Takanuva?
162-2C) Yes
17How could they?
18Thanks in advance ~TR~
191) Yes 201a) The mutagen is down near the bottom of the ocean, not up at the surface 212) You're assuming Avak told the truth -- he simply wanted the Toa to think he had some connection to the BOM 223) Spiriah has too much else to worry about right now to dwell on details like that 234) Time will tell 245) Yes, but if he cut a Toa's arm off, they could just reattach it, so it doesn't really matter 256) Not to my knowledge, but I am not a set designer 267) Same way people in our world recover from amnesia
1Hey Vezon, remove the names. We still can't discuss the summer sets.
1QUOTE 2Hello Greg,
3Just a little curious about somethings concerning bionicle.
41) When are we going to see the makuta building challenge rules ang guidelines in an issue?
52)Will we see the other Hagah as sets?
63)If Mata-nui awoke would he wipe out the Makuta species or give them a second chance?
74) Do touprefer writing boinicle or Exo-Force more?
8Thank you
91) Already been published in the January issue of LEGO BrickMaster Magazine. It's a BM-exclusive contest. 102) No plans for that, no 113) Well, if I were him, I would destroy them or expel them from the universe 124) BIONICLE, because it is aimed at a slightly older audience.
13number 3 is interesting

13Mmmm?I thought the Makuta don't mind Mata Nui awaking now?Correct me if I am wrong.
1Hope you can answer this :
21) What happened after Pohatu's destruction of TSO's fortress? How did TSO react? The Dark Hunters? Casualties?
3Well, TSO wasn't happy, the DH were shocked but immediately put to work rebuilding, and the only injured would have been beings on higher floors when everything turned to dust.
4Yay for the good guys....
1The Shadowed One
1Some questions and answers I just got back from Greg...
81) Not sure whether he didn't fully understand what I meant or didn't want to reveal too much... 92) hee-hee, don't have/can't get one...
10 Aqua I
2Hello Greg. I hope you have time to answer my questions, I've been wondering about them for a while.
31) You have previously said that travel via the Kanohi Olmak is dangerous as you go through some nasty dimensions. Does this imply that you will fade between dimensions untill reaching your final destination (as I had originally thought it meant), or am I reading too far into this and the only way to escape that dimension is through an Olmak? 42) As I don't believe we've ever gotten them since I can't find any, could we please have official pronunciations for Turaga and for Artakha?
5 Thanks:
61) We don't know if other dimensions would have other tech within them that would allow you to move on from there, as until this year, we never did anything set in those dimensions. 72) too-RAH-gah ... arr-TOCK-ah .. these and other pronunciations can be found in the BIONICLE Encylopedia
81) Not sure whether he didn't fully understand what I meant or didn't want to reveal too much... 92) hee-hee, don't have/can't get one...
10 Aqua I
1He wan't talking about Turaga sets. And Aqua, the pronunciations are on BS01.
1Some new stuff.
22I'm resending it because I mistated 4, I was refering to if he was fighting with them if there was something he could do.
2Hello, I have some questions if you could answer them.
31. In FoF you used the term "Bruisers" or something like that to describe the members of Krekka's species on the boat. So is this a name of their species or just more of a term to describe them and not a name?
42. I got to thinking, is Nidhiki actually dead? I don't know if it has been confirmed actually, I'd have to go back and check some things like the encyclopedia, but I think Makuta in Time Trap said he's dead. But the main point is, could he still live in Makuta? I have an example which I will use. In the series Naruto there's a villian character who tries to achive immortality by absorbing new bodies into his so he can live in that body. In a sense when he does it he kills the person, but technically they are alive inside of him, or their minds I think it was. So could he be alive like that in a sense?
53. Can the Phantoka Makuta use their abilities like healing on the Matoran who ride them? Like lets say Kopaka rams his bayonet into Kirop during a battle, could Chirox use the healing ability on Kirop?
64. Would you say Pohatu would have a problem in a fight without a Matoran partner in the sky? I mean his weapons as opposed to feet additions like his last two incarnations he has propeller/drills which he needs to use to keep him afloat. Or does he have some other means to keep himself up?
75. Can you tell us about Solek's ability some more? I mean how does he do it, does he use his light element to create something like a band of light on the ground and then with his power that band grows and would become a wall of light on the ground, or does it just appear and he doesn't need to provide light?
86. What can Ignika do in terms of life based powers? Could it theoretically control water, heat, light, etc. which are all needed for life? But then again you could make the argument that it could have power over coconuts which are known as something like the life giving food or something like that. 96a. Could Ignika use the Midak without taking light from the environment assuming it can control light?
107. On his bio it says Antroz fights with poisoned fangs, so is it refering to the teeth like marks on his mask? 117a. If so does that mean that Spiriah has the same?
12Thank you for your time.
131) It's not a species name. I'd suggest looking up the word "bruiser" in your dictionary. 142) Yes, he is dead 153) Most likely, yes 164) Does a helicopter have a problem flying? 175) Think Green Lantern 186) No, he does not control water, heat, light, etc. -- we have Toa to do that. He controls actual life energy, not the things that make life possible. 196a) No 207) Yes 217a) Yes
22I'm resending it because I mistated 4, I was refering to if he was fighting with them if there was something he could do.
1Some Questions I asked Greg..
2Hi Greg, I was wondering about a few questions
31)When the Phantoka Makuta don't have their Shadowmatoran riding on them, are they completely blind, like the only thing they see is complete darkness? 41a)Do they have sonar or another sort of thing they can see when they don't have the matoran riding on them?
52)I know this wouldn't happen but, would you like to write a serial abut Mutran and Vezon together?
63)Did the summer Makuta had all of their powers before they went to the swamp?
74) About how tall would you say the stalactites compared to the Empire State Bulding? At least an estimate? 8Thanks In Advance:
91) Yes 101a) Makuta do have a sonics ability, but it is too powerful to be used as sonar. To use it as sonar, you have to be able to bounce the sound off physical objects, not smash the physical objects to pieces. 112) That might be a little much. 123) Yes 134) No idea. Probably way bigger.
14Also some other questions about Toa Ignika
151)Is Toa Ignika aware of whats going on, the BoM attacking the core? 162)Does Toa Ignika help out the Nuva and the Av-matoran against the Makuta? 173)Does Toa Ignika have a destiny? 184)In Bioniclestory.com it says "Then help comes from an unexpected new ally – the Mask of Life, which has made a body for itself so it can live the life of a hero as "Toa Ignika." With his power added to theirs, the Toa renew the fight." Does that mean Toa Ignika gives extra powers to the Nuva?
19Thanks Again:
201) Toa Ignika doesn't exist yet in the story, he doesn't come into being until the last two pages of the March comic. 212) I can't discuss future storyline 223) I would say yes, he does 234) No. It means he has power, and when he allies with them, his power is on their side.

24Woooooooowwwwwwwww......... wait a second. So This gives us two pieces of information: 1) The stalactites are freakin' huge: 2) Something in the swamp took away the summer Makuta's powers. Can you say mutagen?

201) Toa Ignika doesn't exist yet in the story, he doesn't come into being until the last two pages of the March comic. 212) I can't discuss future storyline 223) I would say yes, he does 234) No. It means he has power, and when he allies with them, his power is on their side.
24Woooooooowwwwwwwww......... wait a second. So This gives us two pieces of information: 1) The stalactites are freakin' huge: 2) Something in the swamp took away the summer Makuta's powers. Can you say mutagen?
25Im pretty sure that I read somewhere that those Makuta are locked into their current forms. 26-}Kahiru{-
1Hi, Greg. I've been in a heated discussion with BS01 members about Icarax's tools, and which is which. First off, see this quote from S@H:2Makuta Icarax is the ultimate winged warrior of shadow: He can batter his foes with his massive shield, drive them down with his rotating shadow sword, or crush them in his clawed hands. Can any power in the universe hope to stop him? Includes Tridax pod with four shadow leeches.
3Now, I think that this is the "rotating shadow sword", but one member suggests that this in the sword, because, as seen in that picture, it can rotate. So, I ask you, which is the sword and which is the shield? Thanks for your time. 4~Doc C.
5Best thing to do would be for me to actually check it out on the set. Unfortunately, I don't have one yet, as it isn't in the showroom (store exclusives usually aren't) or in our company store yet.
6Well, I hit a dead end.

1Hey Greg,
21.) Would a Great Mahiki wearer be able to: 3a.) breath underwater if they shape-shifted into a fish with gills? 4b.) fly if they changed to a bird?
52.) What do you see as the differences between a Great and Noble Faxon?
6Thanks a lot:
71) Good question -- seems to me to make more sense to say no, just because you are drifting away from shapeshifting to adaptation, but I'd have to see what else we have written about it 82) Duration of the power

1I just got an answer.
224. I mean if he goes into battle without a Matoran with wings or jetpack to keep him up and he can't use the propellers, he needs them as drills to fight, or does he have something else to do it is what I mean.
23Photok is not going to be able to keep him in the air if he's not using the propellers, the Matoran jetpacks are not designed to carry that much weight.
1Thought this was interesting.

2I just have one question based off of this quote from you:
35) Why would it be dangerous to the Great Beings if the Matoran universe went out of control? I thought they were far away.
GregF 4I never said it would be dangerous to the Great Beings. But it could potentially be dangerous to the world the Matoran universe rests on, and who knows after that?
5So, I was wondering, can things that happen in the Matoran Universe influence things elsewhere on the planet? Like the MoLi being destroyed, would that reach just within the universe, or would it be able to stretch outward from it? Or, sort of like how Karda Nui has boundaries that block the SoA from fixing the damage in it, is there eventually a point where that energy would stop expanding?

7The Mask of Life would not affect the world outside, but there are definitely things that could take place in this universe that would. The successful completion of the Brotherhood's plan certainly has that potential

115) Are there others of Gladiator's species or is he one of kind? 215) I would need to go look him up, it has been years since I wrote that book.
3*Note: All GregF's answers are in bold .* Well, that all I have for now. I may have more to add, if I PM him again with more questions.

5I'm just gonna say: Gladiator is a Steltian. It says so in the Bionicle Encyclopedia. My guess is that he wears heavy armor, which would explain the lack of a resemblance to the other two.
1Or maybe he's a different species of Steltan.
