1Hi~: Here my my questions:
21. Are Rahaga clone set? ( all have same rahkshi head.etc) 32. Are Rhotuka different? ( size or symbol...?) 43. Is Rhotuka shoot vertical or horizontal? 54. What is Rhotuka made of? What is the different between it and kanoka? Is it related to mask? 65. Has lego already made different launcher for Rhotuka? Or just one type? 76. Are lomn came out with 2 cover?(Becoz i found this user posted image) 87. Is the promotion vahi packed with vahki? Why not toa lhikan?  98. I want to clear out..is takanuva has the same DESTINY to toa? 109. I hv heard that you hv planned the story after mata nui awake, let me guesss, is it about the RED star? 1110. Is Visorak mechanical?

12thanks very much

141) Yes. It is a $3.99 set, you don't get a lot of new elements in a $3.99 set. 152) Code is different 163) Both 174) I can't answer this 185) They are all ripcord launchers 196) No idea, have not seen that image before 207) Well, because we want as many people as possible to be able to get the Vahi, which is easier if it's in an $8.99 set than in a $30 set. 218) Can't answer it 229) Can't answer it -- I can't discuss future storyline 2310) No.

1I recall a few questions before that intrigued me. Such as Kopaka using his powers through his shield, and other things of that area, so I asked the best questions that came to my head.
2I've been wondering this for some time.We all know how Toa can be creative with their powers, but I'd like to know something more of the Toa of Light's.We know that Takanuva can send out light from himself, but can he affect light apart from him? 31.Can Takanuva absorb energy from a lightsone, or put some more energy into it?
42.Can Takanuva magnify the light radiated from the sun?He could really help brighten up Metru Nui. (provided he doesn't torment Rahi on Mata Nui.)
5Thanks in advance.

6Answer to 1 would be yes. Answer to 2 ... I would have to think about that one, because it is an interesting question. For example, could he brighten the light being received that moment, without affecting the sun? Or would the only way to do this be to brighten the sun itself ... but then the light affected might not reach the planet for days, months, or years, depending on how far away the sun is from the planet Mata Nui is on.

61.I don't know.PM Greg. 72.Because that is how their masks can be.It's just (I think) in the sets they could not build it like that. 83.You'd have to clarify. 94.Nope.I have personally pm'd him..he said no.

10For number 4 you meant no, as in he's forever Takanuva. Right? I knew this but wanted to clarify.

1All the "Edit by Tomiam" parts are to make it clearer what the question is about, since the original messages are so convoluted at this point, I tried to make it simpler. However, the questions and answers are all the same, except for the talky bits and my comments edited out.
2Enjoy: Some of this is new stuff.
3:bzpower: 4Tomiam
5SPOILERS:

6--------------- 7Q: Why are the Metru Matorans' masks silver at the top? I have a theory, but if you can tell me, I'd appreciate it.
8A: To differentiate them from Great or Noble masks, so that a Toa in trouble does not grab the wrong mask by mistake.
9Q: I know Lhikan dies in LoMN, but what does it take to kill a Toa? They seem to be able to take quite a beating, but apparently that particulay tendril of dark energy was more deadly than all the other power blasts the Toa have faced?
10A: You are forgetting one thing -- he wasn't a Toa when he was killed. He was a Turaga, who are nowhere near as powerful as Toa.
11Q: So... how exactly do they make it silver at the top instead of whatever color? And I thought when Matoran made Kanohi, they could be used by either Toa or Matoran, it just wouldn't work very much for the Matoran.
12A: No. Kanohi are made from Kanoka disks, as you probably know. Matoran masks are made from level 1-6 disks, Noble Masks from level 7 disks, and Great Masks from level 8 disks. Power leeches out of a 1-6 disk during the mask-making process, which is why those masks are used for Matoran. All masks are not created equal. As for the silver color, that is just something done during the mask making process.
13Q: So, would Vakama have died if Turaga Lhikan had not gotten in the way?
14A: Probably, yes. We are talking Makuta here, after all.
15Q: Also, I read something about elemental masks. I know there's a mask of light (obvouisly), but are there masks of other elements, too? I thought a Toa's element really was part of the Toa, and didn't come with a mask or anything. This is probably making me seem more ignorant than I am, I mean, I know we haven't seen any of the Toa except Takanuva with an elemental mask, if that counts. But if these masks do exist, does the right Matoran wearing one make that Matoran into a Toa, as it did with Takanuva?

16A: The possibility of elemental masks does exist, because if you took Vakama's Toa disk and made it into a mask, it would be a mask of fire. But no others exist that we know about, and regardless, putting a mask on does not make you a Toa unless you are destined to become one. And we have only ever seen one Toa created that way, so I don't think it is too common of a thing.
17Q: Then how come Makuta's tendrils did not kill the Toa Olda in their (as far as I know) first face-off?
18A: Simple, actually. In their first battle, Makuta really didn't believe they were Toa and he was testing their power, not trying to kill them.
19Q: I know Vakama took his launcher from the Suva after he became a Toa, but was his special disk of fire there too? What happens after he uses it, doesw it just re-appear?
20A: No, he had his Toa disk in the pack he carries in the movie
21Q: The Toa Metru chose weapons from the Suva. Were there tons more weapons there to choose from? Any details on this?
22A: I am sure there were more than they took, yes, but I haven't got info on any of it
23Q: Does Vakama as a Turaga have the power to weild fire? I know he isn't nearly as powerful as a Toa, but I thought maybe he had some of that power left...
24A: Yes, all Turaga have some limited elemental power
25Q: Do the Turaga have some special characteristics we don't know about? I've pretty much always been suspicious of the little guys.
26A: Such as what?
27Q: Why do Bionicle characters doubt that the Toa Metru are Toa? I mean, they're WAY bigger than them...
28A: Well, Lhikan disappeared and then six new Toa suddenly appeared. And the first time most Matoran saw them, they are in the arena unable to use elemental powers or mask powers and getting knocked on their butts. Under those circumstances, would you believe they are Toa?
29Q: So Vakama still has his Toa disk around somewhere?
30A: Yes
31Q: Any instances where his (Edit by Tomiam: talking about Vakama's elemental power) was used that we haven't seen? If not why don't they use it?
32A: The stories really haven't focused on the Turaga, which is why you haven't seen it. Most of their uses of powers were before the Toa came when they had to use them to try to keep Rahi at bay.
33Q: I think I'm on to something here... There are so many things that could be... got any hints? Please? (Edit by Tomiam: talking about unknown characteristics of the Turaga)
34A: I can't say if you are on to something or not, because I don't really know what it is you are asking about.
35Q: However, weren't they (Edit by Tomiam: "they" are the Matoran) a bit suprised when the other Toa (from Lhikan's crew) dissapeared?
36A: The other Toa were sent off on dangerous missions, so it wasn't enormously surprising that they never came back.
37Q: So let me get this straight... Vakama never used his Toa disk, and he still has it in the Toa Nuva storyline?
38A: I didn't say he never used it or still has it on Mata Nui -- 1000 years have gone by since he got it, it may well have run out of power.
39Q: Alright. Will we see that (Edit by Tomiam: talking about Turaga using elemental powers) sometime?
40A: No idea, I can't see us telling stories that don't have any Toa in them.
41Q: Well... I still see the Turaga as mysterious figures, and I think there's more to them than meets the eye. Perhaps they have powers we don't know about, or maybe they have their own agenda? Or maybe the Turaga we see aren't really the Turaga? Any hints, now?
42A: No, they are the Turaga. They have certainly kept their share of secrets, but if they have some powers beyond what we have seen, it's news to me.
43Q: The other Toa Metru have Toa disks, right? Where are they? Where do Toa disks come from?
44A: The other Toa had access to disks and disk launchers when they first became Toa, but they chose other tools. So they would have been left in the Great Temple.
45Q: Lhikan said that Makuta was "sworn to protect the Matoran". Was he the boss of Lhikan's batch of Toa?
461. Perhaps a slightly higher being? 472. How come the Toa Metru recognized Makuta? 483. What does the population of Metru Nui know about Makuta?
49A: Makuta is a good deal more powerful than any individual Toa, but as far as I know he was in charge of Lhikan's group. The Toa Metru recognized him because the Matoran had seen him before, and as just that, a protector. No one in Metru Nui had any reason to think ill of Makuta prior to LOMN.
50Q: Do you have any specifics about those missions? (Edit by Tomiam: talking about other Toa from Lhikan's batch going on missions) Or names of any of those Toa? What did they go off to fight/do? 51So disks can leak power? Did Vakam use the disk somewhere in those thousand years? If so, what on?
52A: You are asking about storyline we may choose to tell in the future, so I can't discuss it. But disks do not leak power, they use it up when they are used.
53Q: Cool. Could they go back and get them? (Edit by Tomiam: talking about Toa disks and launchers)
54A: Possibly
55Q: *double take* Did you just say that Makuta was in charge of Lhikan's batch of Toa? 56A. Who put him in charge? 57B. Why did he turn bad? 58C. Didn't the Matoran wonder where Makuta went when he was pretending to be Dume? D Is Dume from a batch of Toa previous to Lhikan's? 59E How many batches of Toa were there in all?
60A: No -- I mistyped, and meant to say he was NOT in charge of Lhikan's group. So don't start a topic on it. 61D Yes 62E. Can't answer it
63Q: You said that the disk may have "run out of power". How would that happen? The disk can only be used once, right, and then it's gone? So how could he still have it after it ran out of power? What other way could he use the power up besides shooting it?
64A: Why do you think it can only be used once? Use it, then go pick it up and use it again .. like Captain America's shield.
65Q: Hmm. Could other Toa use them? (Edit by Tomiam: talking about Toa disks and launchers, I think, or at least the launchers)
66A: Yes
67Q: This is right, right?:
68A. Makuta is way more powerful than the Toa. 69B. Makuta is not and was never a Toa or Matoran. 70C. Makuta was probably not in charge of any Toa. And yet Makuta was looked upon as a protector by all. 71D. Makuta can shapeshift, and not by any mask power. It's just a power he has, like Tahu can control flame. 72E. He is some higher form of a guardian than a Toa, and has gone bad.
73A: I would agree with all of them. I know the head of the story team might have some objections to E, but that is how I see things. 74-----------------

1Here are some more questions and answers.
2:bzpower: 3Tomiam

4SPOILERS:

5------------------ 6Q: If he is so powerful, then how come he was pretending to be Dume? Why didn't he just come out in his true form (whatever that is) and grab all the Matoran and stick them in pods?
7A: Because he would have spent half his time chasing down Matoran who hid in the Archives, etc. If I want to get everyone in town to do something, it makes a lot more sense for me to pose as someone they trust and obey normally then to mount an attack on them.
8Q: What came to a Matoran on Metru-Nui's mind when he thought of Makuta? (before he was revealed in LoMN as the false Dume)
9A: Probably just what Lhikan said, that he was a protector.
10Q: Didn't they wonder where Makuta was when he was masquerading as Dume?
11A: No. Makuta did not live in Metru Nui, so they had no reason to miss him.
12Q: Makuta, Nidhiki, and Krekka all came from somewhere else. I'm guessing it's a different island. Did they all come from the same place?
13A: No idea. I tend to think not.
14Q: So, Makuta wasn't supposed to be on Metru Nui at all? Where was he supposed to be?
15A: I didn't say that. I said he doesn't live there. Protecting Metru Nui was part of his job, he just didn't live there while doing it. It's sorta like the Justice League -- they protect Earth, but they operate out of a satellite, not from the planet. Same thing -- Makuta operates out of his lairs.
16Q: Is it possible that the Matoran are still underground on Mata-Nui?
17A: No.
18Q: Could the Matoran, when they think they are going to the surface and Mata Nui, be really going deeper underground? Weird idea, I know...
19A: Um, that's the same as question 3 (Edit by Tomiam: question 3 is the question above this question) -- kind of hard to confuse down with up, so no.
20Q: Did Makuta have the Mask of Shadows while he was still a good guy? That would seem kinda weird...
21A: Far as I know, he always had it. Raises the question -- is a tool inherently evil, or is it only evil because of how it is used?
22Q: Was Makuta ever good?
23A: I know as much about that as you do.
24Q: Okay, Dume was a Turaga. A Turaga of what?: He's black and red... Or at least Makuta pretending to be Dume is black and red.
25A: Dume was a fire Turaga. Hence the red coloring.
26Q: How long was Makuta masquerading as Dume?
27A: My guess is 12 to 18 months before the events of the movie.
28Q: So there were two Turaga of Fire at the same time? Now I'm baffled... Can you shed any light on this?
29A: I don't think you can really say two. Because Dume was asleep in a sphere when Vakama became a Turaga. Also, keep in mind that there is no law in BIONICLE that there cannot be two Toa of Fire, or Ice, etc., at the same time. We focus on a team of six Toa in our stories .. doesn't mean there aren't other teams active in other places.
30Q: Why was Dume black and red, instead of just red? Makuta's "Fire and Shadow make a powerful combination" comes to mind.
31A: Cause that is how the designers designed him.
32Q: So what exactly happens when Vakam shoots his fire disk? I kind of assumed that disks were sort of absorbed into whatever they hit.
33A: No, disks discharge their power on what they hit, not on themselves. Now if you fire a disk and it brings down a big statue, like Vakama does in the movie, odds are the disk will get shattered by the rubble. In the case of a fire disk, it creates the needed effect on its target and then can be retrieved. After all, Tahu's sword casts fire but is not destroyed.
34Q: What sudden changes did the Matoran notice when Makuta put Dume into storage and pretended to be him? Something probably changed right away...
35A: If the Matoran had noticed any changes, they would not so willingly have followed him. They didn't. Would the average New Yorker, say, notice if Mayor Bloomberg were replaced by a double? Probably not, because they have no individual dealings with him.
36Q: Are there more islands beneath Metru Nui? Perhaps over the years, the population of this planet has been slowly, layer by layer, rising to the surface.
37A: I have not heard anything about lands beneath Metru Nui, no. Doesn't mean there couldn't be any, just that to my knowledge there aren't any.
38Q: So Makuta lived somewhere else. Hmm. Did he even live on the same planet as the one Metru Nui (and presumably Mata Nui) is on? This is very interesting. Any clues about this?
39A: Yes, he did.
40Q: What was Ahmou planning to get out of his traitorous activities?
41A: Well, in the case of the Great Disks, he was planning to get out of having Nidhiki rearrange his mask for him.
42Q: What was Nidhiki planning to get "paid" for his Toa hunt?
43A: Whatever it is Dark Hunters value ... my guess would be not so much money as possibly tool upgrades, really rare and powerful disks .. who knows, Makuta might have even promised him the Great Disks, since he never had any intention of delivering.
44Q: Nidhiki came from "elsewhere". Where would that be?
45A: Don't know. I will probably be asked to write his backstory someday, but has not happened yet.
46Q: "doesn't mean there aren't other teams active in other places" (Edit by Tomiam: talking about other teams of Toa) Other places? Meaning islands? Or planets? Or holes in the ground? Dimensions? Places to get to through portals? What?
47A: Other places. That's all I'm saying.
48Q: So the black on Dume has no story significance?
49A: Not to my knowledge
50Q: Did Tahu get a fire mask made by Vakama's fire disk?
51A: No, you know what all of Tahu's masks are
52Q: If the Matoran trusted Makuta, I still don't understand why they would not have obeyed him if he showed up and told them to go to the colliseum. Perhaps because he was supposed to be "elsewhere", and they would've been shocked to see him?
53A: Well, let's see -- Makuta shows up and is there with Dume. He tells Dume he wants to shove all the Matoran into spheres and put them into comas. Dume, naturally, objects. Now Makuta has to either do away with Dume -- and make the Matoran upset -- or else try to do this with Dume shouting at the Matoran not to go along with it. Doesn't impersonating Dume sound like a better plan to you?
54Q: How come Mata Nui didn't do anything to stop Makuta? Since he's still awake, where is he and what is he doing?
55A: He's awake, doesn't mean he's well. Remember Makuta's line from MOL, "sleep spares him pain?" Mata Nui isn't in great shape right now.
56Q: Why did Nidhiki chose Ahkmou for the job of resident traitor?
57A: Weak character .. ambitious ... resentful .. perfect tool.
58Q: Tool upgrades? Now how would they get those? Who makes tools like theirs? (Edit by Tomiam: talking about the Dark Hunters' pay)
59A: Ta-Matoran and Po-Matoran can make anything, just about.
60Q: Are the Rahagas' disks organic?
61A: Actually, they are being depicted as sort of like wheels of energy ... that explains why they don't have to carry around a lot of extra spinners.
62Q: Where did Krekka come from? The same place as Nidhiki?
63A: Hasn't been revealed yet
64Q: What the heck IS Krekka anyway? Is he another mutated Toa, as we assume Nidhiki is?
65A: No. I got this confirmed when I was in Denmark, Krekka was never a Toa. 66----------------------

1SPOILERS:

2Hi GregF: New batch of questions:

31. Okay, so let me get this straight, Makuta's plan was:
4Capture Turaga Dume, put in him a coma. Imposter Turaga Dume, and put all Matoran in a coma. Use the Vahi to speed up the disasters that would strike, and then awaken all of them. Then, he'd erase their memories and say he was the Great Spirit, and life would go on. Right?
5_________________________________________________________________ 61) He didn't really expect them to hail him as a Great Spirit. He did expect to be hailed as a rescuer

72. What all happened to Metru-Nui in the "Legend of Eternal Shadow"?
8______________________________________ 92) Pretty much what happens to it in the movie

103. What caused the diasters to happen? 11_____________________ 123) Mata Nui going to sleep

134. What's the deal with the eclipse? Why's that important?
14____________________________________________ 154) Again, it is the signal that disaster is about to strike

165. So, technically, the Matoran were put in a sleep before Mata-Nui, right?

17_____ 185) Yes

196. So.......Why didn't Mata-Nui plan to protect the Matoran from the "Legend of Eternal Shadow"?
20__________________________________________________________________ 216) He had no way to do that. If he could have prevented himself from being cast into sleep, he would have.

227. Did Nuju learn his language from the white Rahaga(forgot his name)?
23_________________________ 247) Follow the story and find out

1SPOILERS

2Got a bit of info from Greg about the Hordika, Rahaga, and Visorak sets. Here it is:
3I just had a couple of questions about the Rahaga, Visorak, and Toa Hordika. It's just about the sets and not really about the storyline, so I think you'll be able to answer them. Here they are:
41.Are the masks that the Toa Hordika wear like mutated 'Kanohi Hordika', or are they regular Kanohi? 52.Can the Toa Hordika and/or Visorak sets transform in any way (like the Vahki sets)? 63.Is there a storyline name for the Rhotuka ripcords, or are they just 'Rhotuka ripcords' or something like that? 74.Do the Rhotuka ripcords have any pegs or anything that enable them to be attached to other parts? 85.Do the Visorak sets use Rhotuka spinners? 96.If yes to #5, is the Rhotuka launched from somewhere near the Visorak mandibles?
10I hope you can answer these questions. Thanks in advance.

111) They do not look like regular Kanohi, no. 122) Not that I know of 133) Although the ripcords are a part of the sets and will be pictured in the comic, in the story that is not how the spinners are launched (kind of hard to reach back and pull your own ripcord). The ripcord is way for you to simulate the launching of the spinners. That is my understanding, anyway 144) Not that I am aware of 155) Yes 166) No
17Greg

18About #1, I wonder what kind of masks the Toa Hordika will have then...

1Q: Why was Dume black and red, instead of just red? Makuta's "Fire and Shadow make a powerful combination" comes to mind.

2He's black and red because that's a common Ta-Matoran color scheme. Look at Brander here. Same way a Le-Matoran Turaga might be any mix of bright green, lime, dark green, teal, and more. The only real storyline significance I can derive from it is that Dume was probably red and black as a Matoran.
3EDITED because 'twas chock-full-of-typos. ("Way" was "Wat".)

1Me comments in red.
2Hello:
3Just had some Qs after I was done reading through the Official Answer Topic.
41. Mata-Nui in bad shape duing the Metru-Nui saga? Yikes: Was that from a previous encounter with Makuta, or something else?
51) From the events leading up to his going to sleep 6I guessed that... What events though? Let's be specific: 72. When exactly did Makuta put Mata-Nui to sleep? After he coma-ized the matoran? Before?
82) Events were set in motion before the Matoran went to sleep
93. Did Makuta use the silver sphere technology to put Mata-Nui to sleep?
103) No 11Now we know. 124. If not, how did he? Just a big sleep blast or something?
134) Can't answer it
145. Do you think Nidhiki was ever a matoran? Maybe had relationships with others?
155) It's possible, but not on Metru Nui. 16Rats.>.< 176. When Dume was a Toa, were there any other Toa with him? (On a team)
186) Probably, yes
197. Could there have ever been a Turaga truely gone bad?
207) No idea
218. Would there be a way to create a poison in Bionicle?
228) Yes 23Yippee: 249. Would Mata-Nui have walked and/or talked with the Matoran on Metru-Nui at any time? Maybe with the Turaga?
259) No
2610. If so, wouldn't the Matoran be worried if Mata-Nui didn't show up?
2710) Mata Nui does not interact directly with Matoran 28Oh poo. 2911. Where does Mata-Nui reside when awake?
3011) Can't answer it
3112. Does Makuta only have one lair?
3212) No, he has more than one 33Ah-hah: :sly: Very nice stuff: 3413. Tell me if this idea holds water: Nidhiki was a Toa, then got poisoned by Visorak, hence his features. Would that work?
3513) No, Visorak are not responsible for how Nidhiki looks, as far as I know. He may even have always have looked that way -- there is no law that says Toa always have to be humanoid in appearance. 36Makes sense to me. 3714. Would there be other creatures like Krekka? A whole new race?
3814) No idea
3915. Did Visorak come from elsewhere? Or were they hiding on Metru-Nui?
4015) They came from elsewhere
4116. If the Visorak were from outside the city, were the Vahki keeping them away?
4216) No. Visorak never tried to get to Metru Nui until after the events of LOMN 43Nice to know. 44Greg
45Thanks for your time: This always makes Bionicle all the better. :)Oh, and I read Voyage of Fear, great job: I loved Mavrah's character:
46~\/isorak...

47Well, this is very nice...
48-Makuta having a bunch of lairs... "Hmm... I think I'll head over to the Ga-Metru overlook lair after lunch." :P
49-Visorak didn't want to ever overtake Metru-Nui until AFTER the quake.. never even tried. Which seems kinda odd. Maybe the quake was a "sign" to them or something.

2True. But the black that really stands out on Dume is his black/red mask. Pretty weird to have a mask like that, IMO.

1You probably already knew this but...
2Hey Greg. I was wondering, are there any gold toa nuva masks? Will there ever be any? The toa have all six masks, don't they?

3No, there are no gold Toa Nuva masks. The price for having a mask that allows you to share power with others is that there is no mask that has all six powers in one.

1ok i was wondering a few things. this is my first time PMing you.
21 how/where did the bahrag come from? 32 if there were rakshies on Metru-nui, why diddn't Makuta send them to mata-nui when the toa became toa nuva and wipe them out? 43 are the rakshies that the toa nuva battled stronger than the ones on Metru-nui? 54 could there be another set of toa on a different island? 65 if yes to 4 could them and the toa ever team up if they met? 76 in the first comic with the borak kal, when they were talking they inscribed "KAL" in the wall. i thought they only right in matoran and how do they know English?
8thats it.

91) Hasn't been revealed yet 102) You are assuming those Rahkshi were still alive and active 1000 years later, when the Toa Nuva storyline happened. 113) No 124) Yes 135) Possibly 146) Simple. Most people who get the comic don't have access to a key to translate Matoran. So unless we were going to put one in every issue, they would not have known what the symbols meant. So just as we translate everything the Toa say into English in the comic, we translated the carving.
15Greg

161 Well, at least I tried. 172 Oh.... :ziplip: 183 well if Pohato, gali, and Tahu lost to 3 rakshies, how did Nokama beat 3 rakshies with almost no power? 194 & 5YES::::: 206 thats a good reason:

22Well I can answer that the Rahkshi in Metru-Nui were like wild bears nothing more while the Six we all know and love were on a focused mission that all their thought was on. Kay? :)
#2219
1And because they didn't have a mission, they wern't as motivated. Plus, Gali used quick thinking more than the Matoa did. The Matoa are pretty much used to being able to use brute force (against the Kal, what's the first thing they tried? Pure, brute force, not even thinking 'bout it...)
#2220
1Well, the answer to the fighting and losing against the rahkshi question is really simple. Nokama beat the three Rahkshi for about three reasons. 1) the leaking water. 2) she knew about the Rahkshi and their powers. 3) she knew she wouldn't win by brute force, so she used a taunting strategy. Now, Tahu and Gali lost for around the same amount of reasons. 1) They knew NOTHING about the Rahkshi, their weaknesses, or their powers. 2) They were in a place full of Matoran. Too extreme use of power could endanger them. 3) Tahu and Gali, two Toa who have been fighting alot are suddenly forced to work together. They aren't used to working together alone like that. 2Althane is pretty much right. But then again, the Toa Nuva probably felt that there was no other way to fight the Rahkshi. If they just stood there to see what they could do, Matoran and homes could be destroyed. If they used a taunting strategy, and drew the Rahkshi into an attack, the same case of Matoran around would show up. Plus they could be caught off by their powers. I'm sure these fights with the Rahkshi and losing are a reason the Turaga want the Toa to know about what might happen to them. Hence 2004-2005 storyline.

1SPOILERS:

2Hi Mr Farshtey. Just got one question:

3How come Bionicle always does things the long way? Like for example, for the Toa to save all the Matoran, they have to become Toa Hordika, meet the Rahaga, kill the Visorak leader, then get an antivenom, then rescue the matoran. It seems a whole lot easier to just return, rescue, and be done with it. Not complaining, I love Bionicle, just asking.

4Thanx:
5-LotM-

6I am not sure where you are getting all that from. First off, they don't have to become Hordika, nor do they choose to become Hordika. And no one has said anything about killing the Visorak leader.
7But in a nutshell, you are basically saying, "Why does there need to be a story?" Return, rescue, and be done with it isn't a story -- where is the conflict? Where is the danger? Where is the adventure? If we didn't do things "the long way" there would be no comics or books.
8Greg

9Didn't mean to be rude. Just asking. :)

21. o..all right, is all bohrak return to swarm during bohrak-kal series? 32. If yes, how can they do that? is it wilthout krana the bohrak will 'disable'? 43. If yes, why we can see kopaka freezeing bohrak in mol? 54. what spell do makuta give to mata nui? will we know it next year? 65. If matoran.etc. lives on mata nui for 1000years, is it all 1000 years they are theathened by makuta's rahi/kratta? 76. Who send the toa to dangerous mission? dume? 87. are there possible ways for turaga to change back to toa?(by regiveing toa stone/refilling elemental power/protodermis? 98. Do Makuta Must need to wear mask? 109. Why didn't makuta discuss the threat with true dume to get the permiision putting matoran in stasis sphere? 1110. Is all the motaran on mata nui awake by toa metru? 1211. How can makuta 'call' dark hunter to come metru nui? 1312. is Nidhiki a toa before? 1413. How makuta erase the memory of matoran? 1514. What cause the earthquake happened on metru nui? 1615. Is the disaster started in lomn, or at the time when toa metru leave? 1716. Are there any toa of light before takanuva? 1817. Is it possible to have toa of shadow? 1918. is mol part of...toa stone? if not, how come takua be takanuva? 2019. Why bionicle 3 still only available on dvd and vhs? 2120. is mata nui ...the planet? 22thank you~:

231) All the Bohrok returned to their nests during that storyline. 242) Bohrok can still function without krana, just not well. 253) You didn't see that. You saw an old Bohrok that had been frozen during the original storyline. And since it was frozen, it had no way to get back to its nest 264) Can't answer it 275) Mostly, yes 286) Makuta as Dume 297) No. A Turaga cannot become a Toa 308) Yes 319) Because Dume would never have agreed to that. Makuta isn't putting them in spheres to keep them safe, he is putting them in spheres to erase their memories so they will hail him as their hero when they wake up. 3210) Yes 3311) Mental telepathy 3412) Yes 3513) Don't want to answer this one yet 3614) Has to do with Mata Nui going to sleep 3715) Happens in the movie 3816) Not to my knowledge 3917) Maybe, but darkness is considered evil in BIONICLE, and Toa are heroes 4018) No. The MOL turned him into Takanuva because that was his destiny. 4119) That is Miramax's decision. At this time, they don't want to do a theatrical movie. That may change, but for right now that is the situation. 4220) No

1Kanoka Disks -
2How do matoran use kanoka powers on themselves or on others?

3Same way Vakama would. If you wanted to use a Kanoka power on a Rahi, say, you have to throw and hit him with the disk. If you want to use it on yourself, you have to hit yourself with the disk hard enough to trigger the power.
4Greg
5But Dume uses a levitation and gravity kanoka for his "box".

6Those are built into the box, Harbinger -- he is not whacking it with disks. Think of .. a piano. Inside a piano are a bunch of little hammers. When you hit a key, it makes the hammer lift up and strike the string to make a sound. Same thing here. When he hits the right control, something makes the disk lift up and strike the framework of the box, triggering the disk's power. Matoran airships are run the same way.
7Greg

8Shoes-

9I Have some questions:
101. Is TLC going to make bionicle shoes for this year with a special kanoka disk? 112. Is there going to be any new sets after Lhikan and LoMN are realeased? 123. If so, What will they be like? a.k.a "vahki-like spiders, etc."
13I ask a lot of questions: 14HoD
151) No idea. We don't make the shoes, they are made by a licensee.
162) The next sets out after that are the first sets for the 2005 storyline. Since they are '05, I cannot discuss them.

17Greg

18Graphic Novels and MOL-
19Is this Graphic novel in color?
20HoD

21Yes. 22Greg
23You mean by the inside, not the Cover?

24Yes, the graphic novel reprints the original comic issues in color. This isn't one of those Essential Marvel books where all the comics are in black and white.
25Greg

26Another Question: 27If Metru Nui is under Mata nui, What did Takanuva, Hahli and Jaller "shoot" light at?

28Not sure i understand your question. In MOL, Metru Nui has been blacked out for 1000 years. Takanuva returned light to the city by sending out his power to bring the lightstones, etc., back to life.

2Visorahk info...

3Just a few...
41. Would a Visorahk be considered a Rahi or other?
52. How fast acting would you say the Visorahk venom is?
63. Are affects caused by Visorahk permanet?
74. Are the Rahaga a species?
85. Is it possible that there was more then the six Rahaga we know of?
96. Each Rahaga specializes in one type of Rahi. (reptilian, aquatic, 10flying, etc.) Can you explain why? (Just a little...)
117. Do the Visorahk have six types?
128. If the answer to #7 is yes, do they each have specialized effects or 13adaptions, etc?
149. Do Visorahk spin webs like earth-spiders?
1510. How intelligent are Visorahk?
1611. How big are Visorahk? (In comparason to, say, Toa Vakama?)
1712. What purpose do the Visorahk serve, if any? (Any natural function, 18or are they just...there?)
1913. Will any of the sea monsters in 5th book be in the Rahi guide?
2014. Will any Rahi in your books already written be shown also? (1-4)
2115. Do the Metru fight mutated Rahi on Metru Nui, mutated by Visorahk?
22Thank you.

296) Many hunters/trappers specialize in only one type of creature. Like some hunters only hunt deer .. some people only fish .. some people only collect butterflies .. etc.
307-12) Not answering any of these yet, sorry
3113) Possibly in an appendix, but they do not exist as models so we can't picture them

1So, the toa came from another island. I want to ask you some questions about that.
21. Were the pods the toa came in the same as the pods the matoran came to Mata-nui? 32. If yes to 1, how did they get out of the pods? I mean the toa metru had to sacrafice there toa power. 43. Are there more toa where they came from?
5here are some other questions 64. Do a lot of toas transform? i mean 2 toa groups have transform. 75. The dark hunters came from another isand. So is there a lot more dark hunters? 86. Do all Dark Hunters destroy toa? 97. where did the visorak come from? the archieves. 108. Are the matoran ever going to go back to Mata-nui after they go to Metru-nui? 119. Why do the matoran want to go to Metru-nui? 1210. When are we going to go back to "the toa nuva going to metru-nui"? 2005, 2006?

131) No 142) See answer to #1 153) No idea 164) Depends on their destiny 175) That would be my guess 186) If that is the job they are hired for 197) No, there are no Visorak in the Archives. Visorak come from elsewhere, off Metru Nui 208) I can't see why they would, off the top of my head 219) They have no choice. If Mata Nui is ever to awaken again, Metru Nui must be repopulated 2210) I can't discuss future storyline

42. If they are, cna you tell us how smart they are, as a matoran, a kal, krahka?
53. Is the female enemy agile?
64. Are the rock raptors and gate guardians other types of rahi mutated by visorak?

75. Do the visorak purposely want to mutate things, or is it just a side effect?
86. Are the rahaga a special case of beings mutated by the visorak?
97. Did the rahaga used to be matoran or rahi, or allied with the visorak?
108. How many big sets will thee be rin 05, and will they all be evil?

3Actually, I don't think that's right... they have worked for Makuta in the past, but they were suprised when "Dume" revealed himself to be Makuta. Isn't that what the book stated? I don't have it myself, so I can't say for sure, but I remember that being the gist of what was posted here.
4As for the telepathy... they probably would care less who it was from (even IF they could tell who it was from... it could simply be a quick, anonymous "Come to Metru-Nui, I have a job for you" message), and more what the opportunities are.

2Actually, I don't think that's right... they have worked for Makuta in the past, but they were suprised when "Dume" revealed himself to be Makuta. Isn't that what the book stated?

3Nope - neither the book nor the movie (to my knowledge  ) so much as insinuates that Nidhiki and Krekka were surprised at "Dume's" identity.
4Might make a good question for Greg, though. Just to clear it up - after all, you've been known to prove me wrong before.
5EDIT:
6Edit: Oh, I remember, he said they knew they were in on an evil plot, but they thought it was a real evil Turaga, since Turaga and Toa can indeed turn evil. (The fact that Nidhiki, we now know, was a Toa, may have helped with that convincing. )

11. What toa is he? toa of air? And is he teamed with lhikan? 22. why didn't makuta keep mata nui awake to prevent earthquake? 33. Why Bohrak-kal don't know where Bahrag was at first? 44.

5Was vakama co. ever see mata nui before? 6Mata Nui, the Great Spirit, you mean? No.

11Why didn't toa vakama co. realive lhikan by 'duty, unitt, destiny' as mol does?6) They can't. Jaller has been wearing Lhikan's mask for 1000 years, and you can only bring someone back to life right after they died and if you have the mask they were wearing. Once someone else wears the mask, the chance is lost.

151) What Toa are you talking about? 162) Because Makuta didn't care that Mata Nui going to sleep would cause an earthquake. He never tried to stop the earthquake, just profit from it. 173) Because they didn't. And if they did, the story would have been over in one issue. 184) No. How many Greeks saw Zeus in person? 195) The Toa Metru made the Toa stones and hid them on Mata Nui. 206) They did not appear on the island until the Toa became Nuva. 217) More than likely, they had no idea they could do that then. 228) Simple. 2Here's a quote from LoMN:

3Nidhiki and Krekka had no idea what was happening. They had served Turaga Dume faithfully, hadn't they? Even when it turned out it was not Dume at all, they had obeyed his orders without question. Why, then, were they now being drawn into the heart of a vortex of darkness? "It is time you made good on your promises, my captains," Makuta said as the two vanished into the pulsating shadow. "For this is your eternal duty."

4So they probably, like Rahi Zaku said, thought Turaga Dume had turned evil.

2I checked the book and stopped reading when "Nidhiki and Krekka were dragged to an unknown fate" several pages before your quote.
