1Does it show Aqua Magna as a moon of Bara Magna?
2Yes it does. Greg confirmed that both AM and BoM are moons of BM.
3I know that, but I was asking whether the movie showed it as a moon. I can't remember if it does. 4And that also brings up another question... what is the moon of Aqua Magna?
5We should take this discussion somewhere else.
6Oh.. and I was talking about the movie. What did you think I was talking talk?
1Dear Greg,
21. When did Telluris build his vehicle, before or after he briefly found acceptance? 32. In Sahmad's tale, he said the two robots were in the sky, does this mean that after comic9, the two robots went into the sky to fight? 43. What is the current status of the land of Artakha, last we heard of it Makuta invaded the land.
5Thanks
61) When did he briefly find acceptance? 72) No, but think about how tall they are -- they are in the sky, the same way the top of a skyscraper is in the sky. 83) We'll get to it
1"We'll get to it" doesn't necessarily mean "We will go there", but most likely "It will be revealed soon."
1Hello Mr. Farshtey,
2Just got some questions.
31. Will there be two sets of serials this year (like 2008)? 42. When will RoS end this year? I've heard it was going to end in March but I also heard it was going to have 20 chapters. 53. Will the story (after the "end") be like story years, with everything happening around a single line of events or will it just be to stall until they decide whether or not to bring Bionicle back?
6Off topic
74. I read in OGD that you weren't allowed to read fan fiction. Are you allowed to explain why? 85. Which book are you on in The Dresden Files?
9Thank you for taking the time to answer these questions.
10-Lewa Krom
111) Don't know yet, possibly more than two 122) Spring 133) Neither. I don't plan to build it around one big event, because if people don't like the big event, they won't want to read any of them. And I don't see it as a stall, because I don't expect BIONICLE back as a set line anytime soon, I see it as something we are doing for the fans. 144) Sure. If I don't read fan fiction, and I make it clear to everyone that I don't, then I can't accidentally use someone else's idea or, more importantly, be accused of using someone else's idea. It's the same reason that if someone sends in an unsolicited idea for a set design to LEGO, the set designers never see it, it goes to Customer Service and right back to the sender. 155) I'm up to date.
161. So you will be writing just as much as any other year? I mean, the comics will be replaced by a serials, the books will be too (I already know Journey's End is going to be made that way in the US, though I plan to buy the actual book on eBay). I guess what I'm trying to say is, will each serial be more personalized for each character/set of characters, unlike RoS which is a big compilation of various characters? 172. So for Spring we have RoS and Journey's End. Will there be a third for the Spring? Sahmad's Tale, maybe? 183. What I was trying to ask was, the story will be moving forward and building like always, right? 194. Makes sense. 205. I'm on Dead Beat. 216. Will there be more potential for fan made storyline additions?
22Thanks in advance.
23-Lewa Krom
241) Don't know yet 252) Sahmad's Tale, yes 263) Moving forward, yes, but not necessarily building toward one big epic climax. It's a different kind of story now. 276) Hopefully, we'll see
282. Yeah, I just listened to it... didn't realize it was already up. If these serials end in Spring, will there serials for Spring-Summer or Spring-Fall or will there be a serial gap?

36I think he just means 'set' models for unseen characters, not story-line additions.
1I'm pretty sure RoS will end where Journey's end will pick up. Anyway:
21. In what sense are Karzahni and Artahka brothers? 31) Have we said they were?
42. Does Artahka possess great physical strentgh? 52a. Main Weapon? 62) Artakha is not a fighter -- that's not his role in the universe. He is a crafter.
73. How would you describe Artahka's armor? 83) I'll describe it when I get to the next chapter of ROS
9On a non-Artahka related note:
104. You stated you personally believe Vakama's visions as a glitch in his AI. Can the same be said for Velika? 114) Velika is an eccentric, certainly, but he doesn't have visions of the future so I don't see a comparison between the two.
125. When can we expect to find out the status of the Piraka? 135) It's not really a priority at the moment. If you assume they are alive, they are still sea snakes and can't survive out of water, which means they can't really impact the story much as things stand.
14Follow Up:
151. On several different pages on Biosector01, it states them as 'brothers'. 161) Well, as you know, there are no biological relationships in BIONICLE. So if they were "brothers," it would be in the same way Makuta and Mata Nui were considered to be brothers.
174. Oh I'm sorry, I meant about the fact he prefers to talk in riddles. Is this a glitch? 184) No, he's just eccentric, same as Kapura is or Mavrah is or the Av-Matoran in Karzahni was

1Which is why it is a shame they were turned to snakes. What a waste.
1Which is why it is a shame they were turned to snakes. What a waste.
2It is a shame. I asked Greg this some time ago because I love the piraka. 3*** 4Hope your holidays were good. Now I have a questions for you.
5What happens to the piraka? Are they dead or what? It has been nagging on the back of my mind and I would really like to know what happened to them.
6Thanks for looking at this.
7Hasn't been revealed. They were in a fountain on the OOMN island when the island got attacked, but whether they are alive or dead has not been shown yet. 8*** 9Oh well it's not that bad I guess.
1Hello Greg, I think I may have suffered a mental relapse, so I need to ask a question.
21) A newly transformed Toa's appearance is molded into the shape of what the Matoran transforming thinks a Toa looks like. So if a Matoran has no idea what a Toa looks like, will their Toa body be something completely new and original? (Like, if one of the Voya Nui Matoran- before the Piraka arrived- got transformed into a Toa: would their form be different than any other Toa?)
3Thanks .
4-Pyro
5I think there are certain basic things that are always going to be the same, simply because it is a Matoran turning into a Toa. A Matoran could not transform into something that looked like a Piraka, for example, anymore than you could grow up to look like a lion when you're 50 -- it's a totally different species.
6Can you give any specific feature that every transformed Matoran would have? (Like, style-wise?)
7-Pyro
8Not off the top of my head. I'm not a visual person, I think in words, not pictures, and this is really more of a an artist-set designer question.?)
9Oh. Well... it seems rational- and logical, seeing as all previous Toa have been seen with them- that every Toa would have (obviously) a Great Kanohi mask, shoulder armor, and chest armor (though one could argue that the Toa Mata did not have these) that is a secondary color to their body hue, correct? (Or something like that
10-Pyro
11Certainly yes on the mask, as every Matoran would be wearing one. As for the rest, I am thinking less in terms of armor and more in terms of general body structure common to the species.
12I see. 131) Like, that every Toa is 7-8 feet tall? 142) What about proportions? The sets make it look like every Toa has arms the size of their legspan. Every Toa would be like that? 153) "General body structure" meaning that their inner workings are all generally the same, like us humans have- basically- the same vital organs?
16-Pyro
171) Yes 182) Close to it 193) Yes -- and, for example, a Matoran is not going to turn into an eight-legged giant spider Toa or something that is just outside of his species.
201) On the height topic, could a Matoran imagine himself as a Toa to be taller than average- like, 9 or 10 feet instead of the average 7, if that's what he/she thought a Toa would look like? 212-3) So more like bone structure, and the skin that covers, I see.
22-Pyro
231) I'm going to probably say no 242-3) Yes
25Thank you for the replies; I just have one more question.
261) A transformed Toa's (who has no idea of what a Toa would look like) uniqueness in appearance (such as stylized armours, etc) can be shaped by destiny, correct? (Sorry if this doesn't make too much sense- I don't know how to word it well.)
27-Pyro
281) Well, yes, they are going to look how they were meant to look like
29Just something I thought up and wanted to wonder endlessly about.

31I'm sorry, this is a very interesting conversation, I'm just struggling to work out what you said and what Greg said. :S
1QUOTE 2Hey Greg, I have some more questions for you.
32) In the Bionicle symbol, the unity-duty-destiny thing, we know that the three circles are the fragments of Spherus Magna, aka the three that must be one. But the two squiggly lines on the sides are what I'm wondering about. In the beginning of TLR, they're shown as bands of dust/planet fragments, like rings almost. Is this what they are, or are those lines meant to represent MN and Teridax in their giant robot forms, aka "the two that must make them one?"
43) Had the Great Beings built the third robot, would it have had a universe inside like the MU, or would it have been like the prototype in being completely robotic? Or something else entirely?
54) I sent this question in another PM a few weeks back, but I have a nagging suspicion that I sent it wrong, so I'll ask it again here. Was the sparkly-transparent MoL that came with '03 Takanuva ever given a storyline role, or was it just a piece of set paraphernalia that never had any significance?
65) So if Spherus Magna is fused back together, is the geography going to return to the way is was before the Shattering? Or will it look a bit like Karzahni's mask, all patched together?
76) I just want to say that the latest chapter of RoS completely blew my mind. How long had you been planning to assemble some of the most epic characters from the storyline in one room? And please tell me you have plans to have Vezon appear at the most awkward moment?
8Ok, well, thanks in advance for answering these .
92) No, they are dust, etc. 103) It would have been similar to Mata Nui, not the prototype 114) That mask was meant to depict the Avohkii "in action," glowing as it does in the movie. So it has no need of a separate storyline role. 125) It should look similar, but remember, some of the terrain is being altered by the battle being fought now 136) Oh, Vezon always pops up somewhere ...
14Most of this isn't really new. Number 6 was meant as a joke, but does anyone else sense a hint there?
1Since when did the Matoran's idea of a Toa have anything to do with what they looked like when they transformed?
2
3Ever since 2004, when the Toa Metru looked completely different from the Toa Mata and Greg needed a reason.
4So the Toa Metru based their idea of Toa of off Lhikan?
5
6Yep, and Takanuva based his idea off of the Toa Nuva. It only applies for normal transformations, though, which is why the Inika look different.
1there was a topic i made in storylines and theories i made that i was hoping you could take a look at.
2here's the topic
3please respond (with a reason if the answer's no .). thanks in advance .
4I think my first question is, are you sure of the provenance of these -- that they are actually models made by LEGO designers? Because I can say I have never seen them before (not that that means they WEREN'T made by LEGO designers, necessarily). If these are fan-built, then I don't want to just blanket canonize them, because it opens the floodgates to ever BZPer sending me his model and wanting it canonized.
5i can confirm the green one (from a foreign TV special), the two white kanohi (came from lego.com), the visorak prototype (also from lego) and the VNOG one. only 90% sure of the others.
6I know about the one from the poster. The other issue is that I doubt very much most of these were officially released by LEGO for public consumption. Prototypes are prototypes because the company didn't want them released as sets. So I doubt I would have the authority to declare them as canon. It would probably have to be a decision made in Denmark.
7i understand that... but you have the authority to say yay 8ay for the VNOG one, right?
9Is it a prototype model? Because if it is, then no, I don't.
10its an unused test image, trying out the animation, and included in the game files
11I don't have the authority to canonize something like that. Since it is a web thing, I would suggest talking to Binkmeister about it.
12>_<
13greg seems to have no 'authority' to do ANYTHING.
1He can only deal with story. He's got nothing to do with sets or the website, outside of those things that are released to the public.
1They were both awesome villains. The BARRAKI were as strong as them ,IMO.

821) A transformed Toa's (who has no idea of what a Toa would look like) uniqueness in appearance (such as stylized armours, etc) can be shaped by destiny, correct? (Sorry if this doesn't make too much sense- I don't know how to word it well.)
83-Pyro
841) Well, yes, they are going to look how they were meant to look like
85Just something I thought up and wanted to wonder endlessly about.
86-Pyro
87I'm sorry, this is a very interesting conversation, I'm just struggling to work out what you said and what Greg said. :S
88If for some reason, a matoran thinks that all toa have eight legs, a tail, and wings, he wont turn into a toa with eight legs, a tail and wings. All toa are approximately one bio (two metres) tall, have two arms, two legs, a head with two eyes a mouth (somewher less obvious there are ears and a nose) and a mask. Theyll never have tails or wins or giant pincers. 89The toa mahri bend these rules because they were altered by the mask of life. Onua and Pohatu are probably the only ones who are hunched and oddly shaped and whatnot. They were built by artakha, so he had the freedom to make them unique if he saw fit.
1The quote did not say they weren't brothers.
1This was such a fast reply...
GregF VezonThunder 21) When an alternate universe is created, the destinies of the beings in it are changed from the main universe. Is this because the beings are technically created when the new alternate universe is created? 32) Is Darkness (a Rahkshi power) a sub-power of Shadow? So that a Toa of Shadow could use the power?
4Thanks in advance, Greg .
51) Recreated, yes 62) I'd have to check, I don't recall the particulars of the power offhand.
1In Lesovik's serial karzahni said, "he hated his brother Arthaka"... maybe the man forgot.
14I wouldn't want those canonized. ever. Dume and Naho should be the same overall design as Lhikan because Dume was the to that Lhikan knew as a matoran, so likely where he got his impression of what toa should look like. Naho I think should be the same just because they'd look better together that way. 15I also just dont like them. The makuta is cool, but the Toa are just plain ugly. 16Prototypes should never be canonized anyway, especially ones made wih peces that are put together by cutting and gluing other parts. It's impossible to MOC without ruining your parts and even then there are some molds in there that were never released. And Dume was a turaga before the zamor launcher was invented. 17Images are better canonized by contests. Thou we're going to start needing reasons for why toa's masks are various powers with the wrong shapes. Perhaps it's not uncommn for toa to disguise their mask powers by changing their shapes. Especially toa who travel through shady places.
1though toa commonly wear the same mask, we know the Mata had dozens of secondary masks. also, it could've been in a different shape to cleverly disguise it. like when you're an evil villain, the "launch doomsday device" button and "shut down doomsday device" button are switched. when fighting a really experienced person, he thinks you have, say, a kiril, but it's actually a Hau
1Hi Greg .
2I think you said that when the Shattering occured, all the Energized Protodermis that was left on Spherus Magna was hurled into space. Is that correct?
3If so, is this the reason why the Great Beings did not build the third robot? After all, they needed the EP in order to stabilize their power source...
4Also, is it possible that the "dust" around the three Magna planets (which is represented by those two lines of the Unity Duty Destiny symbol) is the EP? (Scattered and frozen, it probably would turn into some kind of dust.)
5Thanks in advance .
6Toa-Kal
71) That might have had some bearing on it, depending on whether they had some left from the sample they had originally. 82) Intriguing idea, certainly
1Hi Greg,
2I was wondering if a toa of plasma fires a bolt of plasma at a toa of magnetism, can the toa of magnetism use his powers to deflect the bolt of plasma since plasma reacts highly to magnetism?
3Thanks, 4Filis
5Why would a Toa of Plasma attack another Toa?
6Not really what I had in mind.
7Okay, let's say a dark hunter toa of plasma fires a bolt of plasma at a toa of magnetism. Can the toa of magnetism use his element powers to deflect the bolt of plasma since plasma responds highly to magnetic fields?
8Thanks, 9Filis
10Although what you suggest is scientifically accurate, I probably would not do it in story because I would have to stop and explain to all the 9 year olds reading it why magnetism would affect a plasma burst, etc.
1Why doesn't Greg understand that only the exceptionally intelligent 9-year-olds read the serials? It's always getting in the way of scientific-accurate events. Not that any of them are likely to happen, but... still...

2Well, BIONICLE isn't hard science fiction, so there really isn't a need for that.
1Dear Greg,
83) We'll get to it
91. It says on Bs01 that he briefly found acceptance among some agori, including Berix, but later shunned them. 104.What does the head of the protoype robot look like? The movie shows its head as being similar to the Matoran universe one, but the comic shows a more unique head. Which one is canon?
11thanks
121) Okay, well, I can't comment until I know where BS01 got that from, whether it was something I wrote or not. 134) Just two different artistic interpretations of the same thing, neither is more canon than the other
