1Hey Greg, I recently got thinking about this question, and I thought I might ask you;
21. When Matoran are transformed into Toa and are granted active elemental powers, is the way that they get the powers by their original inactive elemental powers as Matoran being activated by the Toa stones, or are they just given fresh and more powerful elemental powers by the stones?
32. If a Matoran just been created is given a destiny to transform into a Toa, are there any alterations given to the Matoran in advance (like physical alterations etc)?
41) The power is already in them, the stones just triggers its release. The stones do not give them the power. 52) Yes. They would have Toa power locked up inside them.
You in the Kinetics poll 1I think that those who agree with Nuhrii on the "no more new elements after this" would need to think hard on whether they like kinetics enough to have it be the last element added, period, or whether they would prefer to give it some time and think about whether there is another element they would rather have added to the story as the last one.
2I didn't intend it to be the last element added to the story, but the last one to be added to the Matoran Universe. It would still be possible to add more elements on Spherus Magna, on another world or, if elements exist there, in the Red Star (provided, of course, that these elements are "reasonable"). And I do like Kinetics. It offers the potential for great characters. But maybe, as an additional "weakness", Toa of Kinetics should be a very rare sight in the Universe (I just thought of that while writing this - I will post that in the topic immediately).

4I don't plan to add elements into the Spherus Magna universe, Nuhrii, or the red star, so if this is the last in the MU, it's the last.
5Thing is, when you look at this, we are saying, "Make it an element, but load it with restrictions and make it really rare" -- is there really a point to making this an element then, if we are already setting it up to basically not appear in story much at all?
6There already are elements on Spherus Magna - see Element Lords, Ackar, Kiina, Vastus, Gresh and Tarix. Still, I get the point. I am kinda sad about the Red Star thing, though, although I suppose you have your reasons.
7About the restrictions thing - you are right. I now have reached a "I don't care" state - it no longer matters to me whether this gets canonized or not. Maybe, as a compromise, the following things should be considered?
8- When you create the new Toa team, one of those Toa could wear a Mask of Kinetics? 9- Or you could introduce a character with Kinetics as a non-elemental power? Perhaps the Alternate Teridax could have that power, since we know The Melding Makuta have different powers (e.g. Gorast's telekinesis) than those from the core universe?
10Yes, but I am talking about adding NEW elements beyond the seven that exist. Gravity, Magnetism, etc. are not going to show up as elements on SM. It's fire, jungle, water, ice, sand, rock, and (dead) iron, and that's it.
11I would not necessarily rule it out as a mask power, I think the people opposed to it being a Toa element might be more open to that.

13The reason behind the red star thing is that what is in the RS is not Toa or beings who use elemental powers, nor am I seeing it at this point as multiple tribes. 11. The Heat Vision Rahkshi set has the same staff piece as the Guurahk. BS01 is claiming it is still a HV staff in its own right even though it cannot be used to channel powers. Wouldn't it be fair to say that seeing as their powers cannot be chanelled through such tools, that HV Rahkshi don't need their own staffs and simply carry staffs from other Rahkshi (or just Guurahk). I just think the nature of the HV power allows the reused piece to be explained away easily.
22. BS01 claims that Toa Stones used to summon the Toa Mata were a failsafe. When the Toa Metru made them, were they destined to act as this failsafe would any Toa stones (or some other key) have sufficed?
33. Unless I've missed some info, there seems to be no explanation as to when or why the Turaga started telling the Matoran of the Toa Mata, or the scattered Kanohi. I wouldn't seem that at any point prior to the Mata's arrival they would have ever heard of them, yet the Mata seemed to be long-awaited by the time they met the Turaga.
44. Is a there an explanation for the general shrinkage of the Stars characters (or is the change in size only reflected in the sets?)?
55. You noted there was a change in canon before TLR which is why the Ignika is seen to pass galaxies. Could it be said that it flew out of the Spherus Magna 'area', before boomeranging for whatever reason back and landing on BM?
66. Would you say that that generally, the first 3 movies, with the integration or organic tissuie within the Proto components and armour, were most accurate representation of the characters as they actually appear within canon? I don'y necessarily mean in actual design (I appreciate Onua and Pohatu had body changes).
77. Is the Kraata's 'ability' (or destiny) to turn into a Rahkshi linked or based on the same principle as the Makuta's destiny/evolution to turn into antidermis? And would you say the Kraata are part of the Makuta species, rather than just minions?

12. You mentioned before there is no real reason for a Toa of Gravity to absorb his element. Does this mean he is incapable of absorbing, like a Toa of Psionics is incapable of absorbing?
22) I think my issue is not so much can he or can't as how would you be able to tell if he was? He can already reduce gravity to zero around someone, so how do you know if he just doing that or actually absorbing the gravitic power into himself?
32. If that's the case, which makes absolute sense, then I would consider that a Toa of Gravity cannot absorb Gravity, but he can reduce it. Is that fine?

You might be about to escape in this moment, and suddenly it's 5000 years ago the next moment. Taking action is basically impossible under these circumstances, because one moment does not follow the next. 62) We never specified what weapon was used. He might have simply used his mask power, grown really big, and crushed him.

3No, Piraka is just a Matoran word for thief. Skakdi is an actual species, and the Piraka were just members of that species.
