1I don't think the two are necessarily connected. For instance, the President is much more than a blacksmith; does this mean he has any smithing skills?
2Besides, Artakha made the Makuta Armor XD
3Well the way he said it implies that it's some extension of blacksmith, e.g. a samurai is much more than a warrior. And even if not, the connection's still possible. I mean, what would a blacksmith have to do with evolution anyway?

5EDIT: the armor... who were you talking to?
1Greg could have possibly meant this: he/she's beyond any label like that, it may not necesarrily mean he/she's a blacksmith, just possibly beyond any title like that.
1I'm refering to it as other than legend. Let's say he's a sort of being like a blacksmith, but beyond one, that no title could portray essentially.

2Good point. Think of it this way: if the Tren Krom Break was named after him, and so was the peninsula... and assuming the TKP is also acciociated with Fire, just like the TKB, then perhaps Tren Krom is the Bionicle version of Vulcan, the Roman Smith God? It makes sense, if Greg said that he was beyond the level of a normal Blacksmith (Depending on how you interperet that...).

3A bionicle lesser god(demigod?), now that would be interesting... But wait, Mata Nui controls things like heat and gravity, so why would he need assistants? Although that would explain why the world didn't go totally insane while Mata Nui slept...
4-Shardwing Prime-
1Why would he have to be a demigod? He could simple be a master craftsman, like Artakha, just a bit more pyrotechnically inclined.
2And the world didn't go crazy when Mata Nui fell asleep because of the plans that he made beforehand.
3I was referring to the Vulcan/Hephaestus comparison. And Mata Nui making plans beforehand seems a bit odd, how much time passed between his infection and his coma? If there was any measure of time he probably coulda cured himself...

5I believe there was a period of 300 years between Makuta's attack on Mata Nui, and the time of the GC.

1Just because he was compared to Vulcan doesn't mean that the person meant that he was that close to Mata Nui.
1We're not saying that he's a god, we're comparing him to one. It's an analogy.
1Did Greg release the book outside of Lego or something? How did you guys find this out?

5Let's not get off topic

4I think he meant Invasion. 5If that's the case, Greg told us some tidbits about the book.

1And there was a lot about it in the Encyclopedia.
1Wait, so tren krom is a blacksmith and a peninsula?
1And a chasm.

3That wa smore or less my thought. I think of Tren Krom as being one level with Artakha or Karzahni and my first idea I had was that he maybe made the Makuta armor and probably their weapons. Maybe he really is some incarnation of fire.
1So Tren Krom's a very talented blacksmith?
1Tren Krom whatdoyacallit sounds interesting.
2I thought the Piraka poem of Igniting the heart was referring to the process when you bring Mata Nui back to life .
3Edit:
4Where evil's afloat A secret brings hope - Makuta 'afloat' in the sky 5Where a world has gone under Come lightning and thunder- The world gone 'under'- Karda Nui. 6What darkness divides A cut will unite- Maybe the west side entrance to Karda Nui was made by the Makuta and the Toa seal it up. 7Ignite the flame of the heart For the future to start- They use the mask to ignite the heart, I suppose.

1So did I .
1Would be cool to see at least 1 Q&A post per page...
1The Nuva don't ignite the flame, the Inika did. Remember, the prototype were called Toa Igniters.
1This is what I assume the first three lines to mean:
2Where evil's afloat, secret brings hope [Piraka on a floating island, secret of the Mask of Life].
3Where a world has gone under, come lightning and thunder [Mahri Nui sinking].
4What darkness divides, a cut will unite [the Great Cataclysm separating Voya Nui from the continent, cutting the cord causes Voya Nui to rejoin].
5The last line will probably make sense at the end of the year.

7huh, I thought differently.
1Hi, 2Here's just some stuff I asked GregF, nothing special:
19LtoF
3Hi GregF, 4I've got some questions, and I hope you can answer them:
51) the thing the blade burrowers (sp?) digged in the Mutran Chronicles, does it have anything to do with the sundial in the archives? 61a) If not, could you give me a hint? (I'ld understand if you couldn't)
72) Would a mask, that switches the elements of beings, be possible?
83) You told me last time that the Mistika Makuta have maskpowers, is there any chance you'll reveal them before summer (like in the Mutran Chronicles or something else)?
94) Is it true that there will be a rahi this year (in a set form)?
105) What do you prefer, one PM with many questions or more PM's with some questions?
11Thanks for your time,
12LtoF
131) No 141a) As I stated in the story, it's a map. 152) No 163) No plans to do that at the moment, but we'll see. 174) Yes, the BrickMaster exclusive set is a small Rahi. 185) Doesn't matter -- one PM takes up less space in my mailbox

1I see many people going around stating as a fact that this "Tren Krom" is a blacksmith, yet I recall you saying no such thing. Just for reference, here is the only quote I have found in regards to it:
29) I don't want to be one among those who are ceratinly asking you "Who is Tren Krom?" these days but I just had one thought: Is he/she a blacksmith?
39) Way more than that
4People seem to have inferred from that he is not just a blacksmith, but some god-level blacksmith. I took from it that he is not a simple blacksmith, but something completely unrelated and is "way more than that" because of his power and abilities, whatever they may be.
5So, for clarity's sake, which did you mean?
6Your interpretation is correct, ET.
7Tren Krom is not a blacksmith.
8~|ET|~
1Well, this cuts down a lot of theroies:
10So he is nowhere we know of, huh? That means that at this point, all we can do is speculate. Oh, and if you were wondering, the part about Tren Krom was just a wild guess.
2Hi Greg, hope you are doing OK. Have some stuff for you:
31) When you mentioned that Teridax isn't currently on Artahka, and when you recently confirmed that he is not on Daxia, I wondered as to where he is. Is it a place we have seen before? 41a) Just thought of this - could he be in the same place that Mutran is going to visit in the MC#5? When Toa of Kenn asked you about Tren Krom being a Blacksmith, you said he was far more, so might the place were (He? She?) resides be a place with weaponry? Maybe, a place that Teridax never visited? Is that were he is?
52) How important is the place were Tren Krom resides? Is it like a forge, almost? And, based on the other things that are named after TK, might he be the "Vulcan" of Bionicle?
6Thanks in Advance .
71) No, it is not. 81a) No. 92) The notion that Tren Krom has some relation to blacksmithing is mistaken. What I said in response to the question is that he was "way more than that." In other words, the same way that a nuclear engineer or the President or a dinosaur would be way more than a blacksmith in our world.
10So he is nowhere we know of, huh? That means that at this point, all we can do is speculate. Oh, and if you were wondering, the part about Tren Krom was just a wild guess.
