13)Will the toa nuvas armor change back to the old toa nuva look with there old weapons if they were in there own envirment and if it does say Kopaka was in ko metru and then walked into ta metru would Kopaka armor change so it can adapt to extream heat or something like that?

2I don't think it will, because you have to remember that this is all new armour, so we have no clue what its normal form is.

3-toalord
#2562
1I think Greg sees it as their original armor. :)
#2563
1I personally see it as being very similar to the old Nuva armor but much more advanced (similar to how a new model of a car will share some features with the old models but it still definately looks different).

1If he's killed, I don't think there'll be any Antidermis left. :P
#2567
1Unless Brutaka absorbs it as it seeps out.
#2568
1But he wouldn't die if it seeps out. He'd only die if he dissapates, or is destroyed. Maybe the questioner was referring to Spiriah's armor breaking. :)
#2569
1But would the antidermis dissapear if he was killed? I would think it might stay, like a dead body... 2:silver:

1If Brutaka cracks open the armor ans absorbs it on the spot, then Spiriah is pretty much dead.

16I know I'm being nitpicky, but could you please, out of respect for Greg as a writer, use half-decent grammar when you write to him? I know you're a newer member and you may not know this, but using chat-speak is frowned upon on this website. It is no quicker to type "de" instead of "the" and "u" instead of "you". My apologies if English isn't your first language.
#2572
1How exactly would Spiriah get killed, from all we've seen with Teridax it would take a whole lot to not only destroy the armor but also destroy him completely. and even if he weren't killed, and his armor just got cracked, Brutaka wouldn't dare absorb the antidermis with Spiriah still alive; he would probably be kicked out of the OoMN (I can't see how they would aprove of Brutaka killing a member of the BoM)

1I have to agree with Nittany Nuva. Seriously Greg is the one who amkes the story for Bionicle and I think you should try to write him properly. 2Guys that don't speak english as their native language also try their best to send him questions with proper grammar, so should the native speakers.

1Hi greg,
21) Who created the visorak? The makuta had to conquer them so they didn't.
32) What's the status of the visorak now? Are they scattered or is there a chance they'll reform ?
43) When the BoM-OoMN war begins, will the standing order (to return to daxia) be carried out ?
54) Would the order consider recruiting hydraxon-II? He has order training after all.
65) How does the order communicate anyway?

7Regarding my last questions about the gap in the southern continent for 1000 years:
86) Wouldn't the makuta know? It seems kinda implausible that they didn't find out for 1000 years?
97) Is it possible the order 'protected' the gap? (making sure nobody found out)
108) Does the order have an agent in the core?
119) Does the order have an agent near voya nui?
12Thanks.

131) Sure, they did. Having to tame something doesn't mean you didn't create it -- it just means you didn't create gentle, passive creatures. 142) For the most part, they have reformed 153) No -- that order applies if the OOMN is under attack, not attacking. 164) Depends. Hydraxon is a water-breather, so his use in this war would be very limited. 175) It varies. 186) But Mutran was in charge of that area, and Mutran was paying no attention to Voya Nui because he was wrapped up in his experiments. 197) No 208) No 219) Sure, it does. Axonn.

2It was the Mask of Life, actually testing Matoro to see if he was the next guardian, I think you find that out in Bionicle Legends#7. If I am wrong, you can probably find out the information of Biosector01.com, it is where I would look :D

1Hi Greg. Just a few questions.
21 ) Is the visor part of Pohatu's Kakama Nuva? 31a ) ...Lewa's Miru Nuva? 41b ) ...the Faxon? 51c ) ...the Tryna? 61d ) ...the original Kaukau? 71e ) Are visors optional on any of the above masks?
82 ) Do optional parts like Nuju's eyepiece, the visors (if they are indeed seperate from the masks and optional), or Nuparu's underwater breathing mechanism have to be incorporated in the mask's production, or can they be added on later? 92a ) Can they be removed later, and does this affect the mask's ability to function? 102b ) Are visors in this category of optional parts?
113 ) What are visors made of? Crystalline protodermis? Some strange form of transparent metallic protodermis/protosteel? 123a ) Is Gali's original Kaukau (or any non-Nuva Kaukau that existed in sets) made entirely of the same material as the visors typically are made of, or is only the visor made of that material?
134 ) What about the winged visors on the Axalara and Rockoh editions of Lewa and Pohatu? Are these a part of the mask? 144a ) If no, are the wings a part of the mask and simply depicted as part of the visor in the set? 154b ) Are the wings made of the same material as the visor or the mask?
165 ) Is there a story reason the two Phantoka with visored masks need the yellow-green eye filter?
176 ) Story-wise, does Kopaka Phantoka have any trouble adjusting to having his eyepiece on the other side, even if adjusting only takes a brief moment?
187 ) Will Takanuva's eye color change be explained story-wise? My personal suggestion is not to bother, since yellow is not a far cry from yellow-green and because, given the varying eye colors of Toa in the movies and comics, the explanation for the Phantoka/Mistika eye color change seemed gratuitous.
19Sorry about the bulk of questions. I was curious about some of these things, which led me to wonder about the rest. Thanks in advance for your time.

201) The visors existed because of the environments the Toa were in. The Nuva masks are adaptable, and the Mahri masks were created to function underwater. 212) They can be added on later 222a) Yes, they can be removed 232b) See answer to #1. Visors have not been added by mask makers. 243) Not something I have info on, since it's not something I have to deal with in story. 254) Again, the masks are adaptive, they shift shape and form to match the needs of the moment 265) No, that is simply a set design thing 276) No 287) No. Again, it's a set design thing, not something I am dealing with in story.

29Thanks for these answers. I have just a few further questions.
301 ) Your answer to #4 above makes it sound like the visor, winged or otherwise, is indeed a part of the mask, if it adapts with the mask. Would it be a part of the mask or some seperate article of armor? That was the gist of my first question above.
31Thanks again for your time, and for all these answers. Some will be more useful than others, but all will be useful in one way or another. :)

321) It's a part of the mask created during the adaptation. If the mask adapts again to a place where the visor is unnecessary, then it will cease to exist.

33I needed some of this stuff for BS01, and the rest just came based on curiosity. Some of it might be useful.

#2591
1I just PMed these:
2Here's some questions I hope you can answer, please:
31. When do the OoMN declare war on BoM? (Or vice-versa)
42. Does Vultraz have anything to do with Mazeka?
53. Will we se a set form of Mutran's 'Rahitoran' creation from BL9?
64. What does Takadox plan on doing now that he's trapped his team?
75. Has Icarax changed physically? (Visual changes?)
86. Will Toa Ignika speak Matoran any?
9Thanks, Greg . 10---------------------------------- 111) Hasn't happened yet 122) Yes 133) No 144) Going back to the boat and leaving 155) Not outward, no 166) Yes

171- Oh. 182- I kinda figured that out... 193- That closes the idea that the Rahitoran is the BM Exclusive. 204- Interesting. 215- Aw... 226- Cool. I wonder when?
#2592
11. Why did Vultraz not tell the BoM about Karda-Nui? 22. Why do the shadow matoran follow the Makuta? 33. Where did the BoM get the modified Midak Skyblaster that Vultraz uses? 44. Why did the Toa Inika still carry their Zamor Sphere launchers after they freed all the Voya-Nui matoran? 55. Was Voya-Nui always like a barren wasteland?
6-TN05

71) Why should he? What did he have to gain by doing it? 82) Who else should they follow? They are evil and corrupt, who else in Karda Nui is evil and corrupt AND more powerful than they are? 93) From Xia, where the original Nynrah design was altered 104) Well, they had EP in them -- EP is a devastating weapon. Anyone and anything hit by it who isn't destined to be transformed gets destroyed. 115) It wasn't a barren wasteland in 2006, it had a ring of trees around it.

1I've been thinking on the fact that we will be leaving the Matoran universe, and I was wondering:1)will we be losing masks?2)will we be leaving the familiar beings altogether? And now, some truly acceptable 2008 questions:3)I know that Takadox is rather intelligent, but leaving on his own, without even tricking one of the team, seems a little irrational. Does he have a really good plan for surviving without the stronger aspects of his party?4)deep down, does Takadox feel some rage or sadness at losing Carapar? I mean that he considered the brute as the closest thing to 'friend', possibly?5)has Jaller in DM been brainwashed into this system like the toa, or was it a willing thing?6)since toa do not kill, what do they do with incredibly dangerous and crafty foes, like Makuta?7)Are these Nynrah fellow long-lost, or still alive?8)Does mazeka come with the Avokah? (just an idea that popped up)9)If you could, (and you really wanted to) what mask would you design? And , were you to create this design would it be the:a)appearance and look of the mask?b)or the concept/power 2ame?c)both?10)If you weren't constrained by the whole set release and appearance and such etc., would you be adding in lots of characters and bringing old ones back often? What would you do?So, thanks for seven and a half years of Bionicle storyline so far, and I thank you for answering what could very well be already answered.that is not dead, which can eternal lieand with strange aeons, even death may dieJohnny C., over and out .
31-2) I can tell you that the concept of the Mask of Power will play a very key role in 2009, so no, the idea of masks is not being abandoned.3) Yes. Turn around, go back to the boat, sail away.4) No, he considers it an annoyance, the way you would feel if you couldn't find the LEGO piece you needed to finish the model you were working on. Carapar was a tool to him, not a friend.5) It was a willing thing. Jaller idolizes Toa, always has, and so he is fully signed on to whatever they want to do.6) Trap them, as we saw them do in 2002 and 20047) Still alive8) No, there is no set of the Avohkah.9) Not something I would have any interest in. I am not an artist or a designer, I have no talent for that. And I already do come up with the powers for them.10) Most likely, yes. I like the way Marvel used to do it back in the old days, when they would take pains to show you everything was happening in the same universe. That is why I like the serials, I can bring the supporting cast back in without worrying if they are current sets or not.
