1I wonder if its posable for Roodaka's rock to be the mahiki stones( There the key to Makuta's{or roodaka's?} lair)... Mabie, just an idea I think it would be intrasting, but its probally a Toa stone(But you never know...)

2No, there was another quote someone had from Greg where he said the rock wasn't a Makoki stone. 3Just for your info, it's not Mahiki...that is the mask of illusions.

4oop's I didint see that post, or yours when I sent these new questions....(I got the one rong(5) becase it was really late, hehe...

5Ok just a phew...
61: Do you know what the next movie(B3) is going to be called?
72: I dont think you'll tell me but, what can you tell us wwhat the next movie is called? (If not can you tell us what it wont be called?)
81-2) The name being considered is going through legal checks right now. But I cannot share it -- Miramax decides when it gets announced, not LEGO.
9Got it...
103:Roodaka's rock, is it poasable for it to be the Mahiki stones?
113) No
12Ah man:
134:The brotherhood of Makuta, is this a me myself and I thing? It is other beings that are his brothers, not just Makuta talking to himself agane?
144) No, he is referring to other beings
155:Do all of the Hordika get transformd the same way?

165) I don't understand your question
17Crud, I ment the Metru:rolleyes:
186:Do you know when work on B3 gets started? Like sketchs computer disignes or animation? :(
196) They are already in the process of doing animation, and have been since last summer.
20WOW:o
21Ok all I van think of tonight, I hope you had a good thanksgiving:)Keep livin...

1Interesting, I PMed Greg last night asking if they would be rereleasing the Toa Nuva, Turaga and Matoran for the 2006 journey to Metru Nui. He said no (although product plans are not fully set yet).
2Will our heroes be yet again changed, perhaps destroyed, perhaps put to "sleep" (become inactive)?
3I mean, doesent it only make sense that if they were the main characters for 2006 they would be rereleased?
4As you can see, I'm irked about this. Something tells me we won't be seeing too much of our heroes in 2006.
5-Kato

6Rereleasing is a bad plan, unless there is a high demand for the products, which there isn't.

7So, the sets in 2006 will probably be the enemies, but y'know, let's let 2005 go, before we worry about 2006. ;)

1:wacko: I don't get it, how do the rahaga and toa hidorka fit into the Metrunui storyline? Where do they come from and why? and why do they have the same names as the Toa Metru/Turaga. This 2005 storyline is so confusing:

2The 2005 storyline is when the Metru go back for the rest of the Matoran. Visorak transform the Metru into Hordika, and then the Rahaga find them afterwards.

STORM
3  4Do the Toa Hordika have mask powers?  Like, the Illusions, Invisibility, etc?  Or, do they not even have masks at all (not the set, for the storyline)?  Thanks:

5No, they don't wear masks. Those are their faces. As tainted Toa, they cannot use mask powers.

6That really stinks...no mask powers: Those Rhotuka spinners which launch elemental energy will really come in handy, then.
#2645
Kato
1... 2Will our heroes be yet again changed, ...

3No, a while ago Greg said they have it all figured out, and the Toa Nuva will not change again. Because that gets old after a while. ;)
4He also said they most likely will not re-release them, although it is possible it may be done as a collectors item.
5That might depend on how much demand there is for them.

6Personally, I'd like to see set revisions the way they keep doing revisions of Star Wars sets, maybe make the same style of legs except More posable like Metru, for example. But only if they're not main features, because that would be the ole Kal problem again. New peices for the same sets is what I mean. Probably not feasible. *shrugs*

1For some odd reason I get the Idea Roodaka has some sort of teleport power.I can imagine her against the Bahrag.
2Gahdok/Prepear for your death Roodaka.
3Roodaka/It may be worth dying to one like you Gahdok unlike your sister.
4Cahdok/WHAT.I'm ten times more powerfull than her.
5Gahdok/I think our enemy is right on this matter Cahdok.
6Cahdok/Want a bet.
7The two Bahrag get into a cartoony dust cloud and Roodaka walks away down a tunnle claping her hands togeather.

1QUOTE 2Hello Greg, I'm sorry if some of these questions have already been asked, I looked back about 20 pages in the GregF discussion thread and didn't find anything, so...
31.How can there be data about the Morbuzakh and how the Great Kanoka can defeat them in the Knowledge tower, if the morbuzakh only appeared recently?
42.In response to an earlier question about how makuta created the Morbuzakh, you said it was a little more complicated than just pouring energized protodermis on some plants, will we ever learn a bit more info on how the Morbuzakh and Karzahni was created?
53. Is there any particular reason that makuta named it Morbuzakh, like Karzahni?
64.Were the great Kanoka created the same way as other Kanoka, since they seem to behave differently?
75. What was the purpose of Makuta's experiments on rahi and energized protodermis?
86. How was makuta able to exercise at least limited control upon the outcome of his experiments?
9And now a few questions Re: 2005
107.Regarding Roodaka's "Cool Rock" you said it would be familiar to us. From what year would it be familiar? (01, 02, etc.)
118. Is it possible that there are other Rahaga on other Environs?
12Thanks for answering: 13Ast1

141) Well, if a plant creature suddenly attacked your town, don't you think all your scientists and researchers would immediately begin studying how to defeat it?
152) No idea. Hopefully. If you do, it will probably be in the books rather than the comics or the movies.
163) Not that we know of at this time
174) They behave differently largely because of their power level
185) Only Makuta knows that at this point. It's not something I am at liberty to share
196) He wasn't. That was the point. There is no way to tell what you are going to get when you use EP.
207) Can't answer it
218) No, I think that would be highly doubtful. Rahaga are individual characters, they are not a species.

21. is it true that the bohrok are related to the toa:silver::silver:
32. if yes to question 1 then what year will it play a role in the story
43. does takanuva have a cube that has his element
54. if yes to question 3 where is it

81) Not directly related, no .. indirectly
93) Takanuva is not a Toa Nuva, so he has no cube

1Hi Mr. Farshtey. Just two questions:
2How do you pronounce Karzahni? I pronounce it kar-ZON-ee.

3What the Bahrag dip into EP to create krana -- have we seen it before?

4Thanks:

6P.S. Just remembered this one. When does Bob Thompson plan to reveal how Matoran come into being? If he keeps it a secret forever it'll drive me crazy: And are they created in Metru-Nui?

71) Yeah, that's fine
82) Can't answer it
93) I know of no plans by Bob to reveal that. His attitude is that if everything about BIONICLE gets revealed, then the mystique is lost, and he's probably right.

5exactly, does your enjoyment of bionicle hinge on that? does it? does it? anyways, i see where he's going, let's just be patient and maybe we'll find out..... anyways:

6more gregness:

7will it be the krahka? or something else?

8First off, it is actually the biggest set since 2001, as the Manas was slightly more expensive.
9And no it is not Krahka -- I am not even sure how you would do a set of Krahka, since she is a shapeshifter and can look like anything she has seen.

10true... although you could make bunches of diffferent models and put them in and they could be he shapeshifted forms... anyways would you tell me if i'm close when i ask this about roodaka's cool rock....

11idea #1: roddaka's rock is a toa stone or better yet a special toa stone with the ability to change the hordika back to toa metru?
12idea #2: the rock is the rock that the molten proto (or lava) in that cave in ta koro is (you know tha totem tht created the avohki?) that rock she has?
13idea #4: hr rock is a rock that maks of shadows came from?
14anyways tia.

15That would basically be the BIONICLE creator set we put out back in 2001.
16All good guesses, but sorry, three strikes.

1nothing you probably don't know but, what the heck.[QUOTEI know about a million other members bug you with PMs every day, so I'll keep this short.
21.Why does Roodaka (or whatever her name was) throw Visorahk over the cliff? Wouldn't it be kindof dumb to be throwing away your army?
32. Ultimate Dume isn't really a combiner, right? Because in LoMN, it seems that Nidhiki and Krekka weren't supposed to be combined with Makuta/Dume, they were just sucked into the vortex.
43. I know you probably can't tell me this, but if Dume was Makuta, then what were the eyes? Because if the eyes were Makuta, that would mean Dume really was evil, and Makuta just took over his body later. Or can Makuta split into 2 forms?
54. I've always been curious, what would happen if Cahdok and Gahdok faced off? Who would win? Or would it be a tie?
65. How come in MNOLG 1, Takua put the chisel in the sphere and it just carried him away? Was it made to be there? Or did it just happen to fit?

71) She rules through fear, and that is a good way to make sure your army stays afraid of you.
8Me: I knew that
92) But they obviously are combined at the end, because UD has parts from them and from Nivawk.

10Me:all right, not what I was expecting...
113) He was looking in a mirror.
12Me: A mirror hanging above a pool of protodermis. Evidently Makuta is so lonely he talks to himself.
134) Probably pretty evenly matched
14Me: I thought so.
155) I had nothing to do with MNOLG1, which was designed before anyone knew BIONICLE would last more than one year. So I can't answer questions on it, I don't have the info.

1Ok, I have a few answers here, mostly about the rahaga combiners...
2Dear Greg F,
3Thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm sure everyone at BZPower appreciates your help.
41) The colony drones look nothing like Visorak. So what is their relation to the visorak? Larvae, enslaved species? Mechanical beings?
51) You'll find out in the January LEGO Magazine.
6-Darn:
72) Is there a chance that the colony drones are related to Roodaka? As in, maybe a smaller, weaker off-shoot of her species?
82) No.
9-It was possible, judging by the looks of the sets...
103) How much will we actually learn about the colony drones and Ice vermin?(As you can tell, I really like these little people)
113) About as much as you ever learn about combo models initially. We do a text paragraph on them, and then there will be more info on both in the Rahi Guide next year.
12-Darn, more waiting:
134) What species is the king visorak?
144) Can't answer it.
15It was worth a try  :)
165) Could you send me a list of what visorak name matches what colour? I can't find the first one.
175) Oohnorak - black, Vohtarak - red, Boggarak- blue, Suukorak - white, Roparak - brown, Keelerak - green
18I couldn't fathom this topic that well...
196) Do the visoraks colours have anything to do with the way they hunt? As in, do only Boggorahk hunt with each other, or only in a certain metru?
206) In the case of the Boggarak, they are best suited for hunting water creatures, so they tend to stay near the water. In general, though, the various breeds will work together when the hunt demands it.
21Yay: New info:
22Thank you very much:

3No.
4QUOTE 5Hi: Sorry to bug u again but I got a couple more Q's.
61.What are the powers of the Visorahk?
72. Where did they come from?
83.Will we learn more about Krekka's speicies?
94. Will that combiner spider thing that the Bahrag come into ever come into the storyline?
105.Are the Rahaga mutated, or is that their true forms?
116. Do the Rahaga have any hidden powers, such as the elements like Fire & Ice?
127. Who would u say is stronger, Tahu, or Kopaka?
138. How could Matoro know how to speak Nuju's language when he didn't even know about Rahaga Kualas?(I may have spelt that wrong)
149. Everyone is saying that Roodahka is the King Visorahk's viceroy, whats a viceroy?
1510. Will we be learning about the "Brotherhood of Makuta" soon?
1611. Will Karzahni & that other place ever come back into the storyline?
1712. Did the same people who built the Bohrok & Bahrag make the Exo-Toa?
1813. When will we learn more of the mysterios exo-toa? 2006?
19Thanks for your time:

201) Haven't released them yet. 2005 story starts in a month.
212) Elsewhere
223) I don't even know what Krekka's species is, at this point. It is not mentioned in the '04 bible
234) No idea. No plans for it right now
245) You'll find out
256) No, they have no elemental powers
267) I would say they are about equal, like the Human Torch and Iceman
278) Nuju taught Matoro
289) A viceroy is like a deputy to a king
2910) Not until after '05
3011) Maybe, don't know yet. That is really ancient Matoran history
3112) Can't answer it

11: Explain to me how Roodaka's left arm mechanism works
22: Is that mechanism a removeable tool, or part of her essense?
33: Is that only a Prototype of Roodaka?
4RANDOM QUESTIONS:
5A: Is the "Heavens" that the Turaga talk about where the Toa came from, the island of Mata Nui?
6B: When Mata Nui fell asleep, did the Toa fall into the Metru Nui sea?
7C: If so, then wouldn't the "Heavens" be Mata Nui?
8D: Did the Toa stones attract the Toa Olda's canisters to Mata Nui?

91) The claws can be rotated as a complete unit or else rearranged using smaller sprocket pieces. The right arm is her spinner launcher.
102) Far as I know, it is a natural tool.
113) It looks pretty similar to the model we have here, far as I can tell.
124) ?? Don't really understand your question. The Toa Olda didn't come from Mata Nui, they came to Mata Nui.
135) No. They fell into the ocean around Mata Nui, not Metru Nui.
147) Yes -- Takua placed them together and they sent out a signal which drew the canisters in from the ocean.
15Greg

16So, then when did the Toa fall?

17The Toa fell into the ocean around Mata Nui right around the time of the eclipse in LOMN. They then floated there for roughly 1000 years until Takua used the Toa stones to summon them. The Turaga had no idea they were there -- they believed that six of the Matoran they had brought with them would become Toa at some point, using those stones, but that is not what was destined, as it turned out.

1*=new/interesting info
2----------------------------------------------------------- 3BTW, I like the idea of the Vizzy King.
4*1. So, King Vizzy's busy, is he? Is he is off campaigning? 51) He's hunting Toa.
62. I mean, you just got your height tripled. Did the Toa Metru, say, bump their heads a lot in their first days as Toa? *imagines head-shaped hole in the top of a hut* 72) Have no idea what you are referring to.
8*3. Does the fact that Roodoka is Regent (or whatever she is) have anything to do with her fabled cunning? 93) Hasn't hurt.
104. About when in relation to the first public release do you get the sets? 114) I don't. I only get the sets if I go buy them at the company store -- we don't get them for free. Best I can do is see them when they are in the showroom, which is usually a couple months before release.
125. So Leah's gone. Who's doing the site now? 135) One of the other producers based in the UK. Leah has moved on to the LEGO Factory project.
14*6. I just got the Rahaga, and I must say they're pretty neat. Is there a reason they look like squashed rahkshi? 156) The Rahkshi heads are a little jest on the part of the BIONICLE character who created them.
167. Do the Rhotuka codes not work yet or am I entering them wrong? 177) Odds are they don't work yet, because these sets were not originally scheduled to come out until Jan.
188. When do the spare rhotuka packs come out? Not that I've lost any. Yet... 198) Should be very soon
209. Would you say that Bionicle has the same physics as the real world? 219) I actually make a huge effort to stay away from that notion. I prefer not to paint us into Earth physics corners.
2210. The Rock: Is it big? Small? 2310) Smaller than a breadbox. Bigger than a protodite.
24Thanks for your time:
25---------------------------------------------
26Sorry about the vagueness/repeat question.
27Anyway, some clarification:
28*2. A matoran is about two inches tall. A Toa is about six inches tall. They wouldn't be used to being that tall instantly, would they? I take it they wouldn't just duck whenever they come to a doorway or arch. Wham: Toa-shaped indentation. 291) Ah, I see what you're saying. Yes, that would be one of many challenges a new Toa would face, including having your friends treat you differently and suddenly having so much more responsibility.
304. When does the company store get in the sets? Same time as first release? On the official release date? Earlier? Later? 312) Store usually gets them in a little later than release. We can also order them at discount from Shop At Home, in order to get them earlier.
32Greg 33---------------------------------- 34Edited for easier reading.

1Stuff from GregF, nothing terribly interesting, but I think i got a good haul..
21. Will protodites ever appear in the story again?
31) Probably.
42. Regarding the '05 sets, why does Keetongu have one eye?
53. And, if you can tell me, what is the thing on the end of his/her/its arm with the Nuhvok-Kal handshields?
62-3) Can't discuss this yet.
74. How many Rhotuka come with the spinner packs, and how many launchers?
84) I believe it is five spinners -- I don't think it comes with a launcher, since every set has a launcher.
95. I think you once said the Rhotuka have codes, but where are they? I can't see any from the pics I've seen..
105) I don't have any of the actual sets, just prototypes, but my understanding is that they are lasered into the sides.
116. How many code digits do Rhotuka have?
126) Three probably.
137. What do these signify?
147) They don't -- they are purely for use on the Kanoka Club.
158. Are the silver buildings on the cover of the Metru-Nui city guide proto purifying centers?
168) No, they are more like lighthouses.
179. How do you get to the special online content mentioned in the city guide? I typed in www.metrunui.com, but a Zadakh Hive Central Task Force message told me I need to be logged into my Kanoka club account to reach the restricted area, so I did that, but I couldn't find where on the Kanoka club site I'm supposed to enter the ISBN and disk code.
189) Let me check for you.
1910. On the "increase weight" and levitation disks mentioned in the City Guide; wouldn't it just be simpler to use a gravity controlling disk and be done with it?
2010) It would if they had one -- but so far, we have only seen Kal with that power. So they may very well not have a disk that does that.

21Thanks::

1buuz987, I never agree with the hundreds of whacked-out theories that BZP generates, but yours makes sence::: Think about it: Way back, Greg said that the Turaga's tales about Mertu Nui were very dark, and filled with betrayal. Sure, they were betrayed in the fact that Makuta was Dume, but Dume himself didn't betray them. But the Rahaga, the only creatures to befriend the Hordika, their teachers who help them control their beastly sides... if THEY betray them?? That would be so totally dark, man.
2Hey Greg.
3New pics of the Visorak and 3 big sets have surfaced. In the pics, you see bits and snippits of the combiner models for all of these.
41.) I know you probably can't give any info on them, but can you just tell us if some of them will have parts in the story? (Including the 3 Big combiner(s).)
52.) It looks like, possibly, the big sets have more than one combiner. (I.e., Makuta --> Takutanuva or Makuta --> Makuta Nui.) Is this true to your knowledge?
6Thanks a lot

7I have absolutely no information on the big set combiners. I have not seen packaging or building instructions for them, so I have no idea what the combiners are or what role, if any, they will play in the story.
8As for the other combiners, the six Visorak Zivon definitely plays a role in the story, as does the three-Visorak Kahgarak model, and the others show up in the Rahi Guide.

No, I've not come to bother you about the new sets (Well, indirectly, but I'll get to the point.) I merely am concerned about my wallet, and how thin it's looking. 2You see, in 2004 I barely managed to pull out enough mulah to afford all the sets that came out. Granted, I spent alot on sets I missed out on when they first came out, but my point remains. Now, in 2005, I've heard rumours of nearly twice the number of sets coming out. As you can imagine, this, coupled with the knowledge that the "Biggest set since 2001 in terms of price" is coming out next year does not leave me in high hopes. I want to be certian about this, so can you just lay out for me exactly how many sets are coming out next year? I don't need details (however stuff like if it's a $2 or $20 set would be nice.) 3This is what I have so far: 4Rahaga: $18 5Hordika: $42 6Visorak: $42 7Roodaka: $20 8Sidorak: $20 9Keetongu: $20 10Big set: $70 (Bahrag were $60, Manas $80, so I assume this is right.) 11Total: $232
12Keep in mind this is all assuming I use my mad bargain-hunting skills to get these at less then retail price if possible.
13What else do you fellows at Lego have in store for me to empty my pocket books upon?

14Sorry, I don't have pricing info on most these sets, beyond that the Rahaga are $3.99. I can tell you that in addition to the sets you listed and the "big set", there are four other sets BZP does not yet know about. Whether you will want all of them, I do not know -- two are in the normal Toa price range, I believe, two are more expensive but way less than the big set.

16Eh, I'll just have to stop eating or something. *smacked*

1Really? I thought t he Manas were $100. When I got them for $70 from Amazon they were 30% off. I know I'm pretty much just making the big set sound more expensive, but this is confusing me.

1Well Rayg, that's $232 dollars over a whooooole year. You don't have to buy everything the day it comes out. Why, I still haven't got the extra sets to build the Makuta Nui combiner because new things in my various collections keep coming out. I'll manage fine for this year. Can't wait:
#2671
1The Manas were $90, and Muaka & Kane-Ra were $80. So I'm guessing the new set will be around $85.
2Rayg, I sympathize with you completely. Even though I split the cost evenly with my brother, I'm still worried.
#2672
1Rayg, don't think of it as starving, think of it as weight loss. ^_^

3Anyways, I mostly get my bigger sets via presents (When you have a sibling who likes Bionicle too, it REALLY helps (means you have 2 birthdays, and at least 2 during Christmas. :P))

2You buy EXTRA sets? 3My goodness. 4*faints* 5You must understand...I could barely scrape up the...what is it, $150 that was required of me to buy all the 2004 sets...I have to work HARD for my cash.

6Hehe, yeah, I'm proud, I show pictures of my collection like old people show off grandkids. But not to the cute girls of course. I guess my allowance is pretty big compaired to most kids. Anyway, my friend, a HS Freshman, gets $85 a week for working 2 days a week washing dishes at a diner, that's enough to buy the year's sets in a month: So don't stress about it.

1Not to mention, next year I gotta deal with paying for college as well. And I won't be able to continue my job taking care of the neighbor's horses. I better start getting good at building contests, cause I'm not even gonna be able to afford a Vissy...
#2675
1I can relate to everyone's delima so far...
2I don't even get an allowence....I have to wait for some money to pop up, or Christmas, 3or my Birthday...
4And I don't have all the '04 sets yet...
5How I'm gonna pull off anouther 28 sets or so...urg...

1Man, that's driving me crazy: I'm dying to know how Matoran come into being:
2-Kualus-

3Do you really need to know the answer? Does your enjoyment of Bionicle hinge on possessing that knowledge? I think Bob Thompson is taking a wise position on this.
4-BC

5exactly, does your enjoyment of bionicle hinge on that? does it? does it? anyways, i see where he's going, let's just be patient and maybe we'll find out..... anyways:

6Hey, listen, why are you jumping all over me? All I said was it was driving me crazy. I meant it in a funny, friendly manner. Why's everyone freaking out?

2Agreed. I would really like to know how they come into being. Theres still plenty of mysteries to solve. Plenty. :psychotwitch:

1I don't think those two guys meant to jump on you Kualus, they were probably just joking around.

1I agree that I'd very much like to know where the Matoran came from. And how Krana are made. And where the Kanohi Nuva came from. And how the Toa Olda were made. And why there needs to be millions of Bohrok to clear off one tiny island. And what the Bohrok's connection is to the Toa. There are plenty of mysteries left to solve, and yeah I pull my hair out over them, but we have to have faith they will be revealed someday. I mean, whenever Bionicle is said and done with (hopefully a long time,) there will be no more "mistique" to ruin, so they will have to tell us the origins of the Matoran. Or we'll throw rocks at them. :P Just kidding.
2Anyways, this is the Greg topic, I think we may be getting a little off topic. Let's just keep asking Greg stuff: :D
