1Shadow - Again, you are gifting the Matoran with the ability to turn into a totally different species. There is no reason to believe they can do that.
2Gear -- The point is that when the marketing dept. is spending a load of money on BIONICLE.com and the comic each year, it never hurts to be able to show them that, yes, the story matters to people and influences sales. That sort of thing has been taken on faith for a lot of years, but there comes a point where you need to show facts and figures to insure support for doing story stays strong.

1Hello Mr. Farshtey, I just have a few questions of things I've been wondering about...
21. Ok, this may be a stupid question, but are Kopaka Nuva's powers capable of reaching below zero temperatures as extreme as absolute zero?
32. Does the entire Island of Zakaz consist completely of males or are the female Skakdi as well?
43. Is Kardas the only one of his species?
5Thanks in advance!

11. Can Karzanhi rebuild himself if he is mutated?
22. Will we see the builder of the canisters or any other matoran of light again?
33. Will the builder of the canisters ever get a name?
44. Is there a specific colour (or colours) for all the makuta?
55. Are there any rouge BoM members?
66. Are there any female BoM members?

1Rabin -- 1) Not that has appeared in story.
2Scholzie - Takanuva is not a Toa Nuva. Toa Nuva are Toa who have been tranformed by energized protodermis and who can share mask powers -- neither applies to Takanuva. And he was called that so when the character list for Mask of Light was released, everyone wouldn't automatically know who the seventh Toa was going to be.
3Karzahni -- 1) I think that would be a problem since the things he uses to do that are back in his realm, and he will be a water breather who can't go back there. 2) Time will tell. 3) I doubt it, he's not important enough of a character to spend several thousand dollars clearing a name for. 4) If I had to guess, black would come to mind. 5) One, and rouge is make-up by the way -- I think you meant "rogue." 6) Haven't decided.

1Is there a force in the universe that could possibly revive a being from the dead (with their soul)?
2Were there lightstones in Mata Nui (island) before the Great Cataclysm? Did the EP leaks create them?
3-Rabin
4p.s. Is it just me, or have there been hardly any posts in the "Ask Greg" topic since the new Pokémon games came out?

1Rabin - 1) No single force, no. 2) There were, but they were not created by EP, my guess would be they were there beforehand and/or some were brought from Metru Nui.
1Will Mata Nui die in absolute sense, ie, will/could he be resurrected?
1I have some questions, Why are there hardly any wheels in the Bionicle universe?
2Also, it may be kind of dumb to ask, but Karzahni Is basically where Matoran(and other Bioncile Characters) go when they've been really bad and die, right?
3Also, I heard that "Mata-Nui" is Maori for "cooked nut". Did you know this, or is this just a coincidence?
4I also saw a picture of what The dark hunters' island looks like, and it looked like they had Surface-to-air-Missile-launchers on top of those buildings, is that what they were?

Last Edit: by Gaku
1Maduk - All I am saying is he will die. Beyond that, I am not discussing future storyline.
2Gaku - 1) Well, we saw wheels on Voya Nui -- just not Metru Nui or Mata Nui, where they were evidently not developed. 2) No. Karzahni is not part of some afterlife. Karzahni was where Matoran who were damaged or poor workers were sent for repair. 3) Never heard that, no. 4) No.

1Can you list all of the books that came out after Time Trap? As I am behind and want to start reading them again.
1I wonder if you realise how philosophical that question is, Disousa?
1So does that now mean that Zaktan is protodites now, rather than a Skakdi?
1I have another question, how much longer will Bionicle go on? In other words,(I don't mean anything bad by it.) when will LEGO umm, stop making Bionicle sets?
1If you used the Fusion Spear on Zaktan, would he turn into a Skakdi, or just a fusion of Protodites?
2What if you used it in separate mode? Would it create a bunch of Protodites too?
3How does the spear fire? does it have a trigger?
4Imagine that you joined two creatures into one, using the spear. Would the mass of the fusion be their masses added?
5What about in reverse? Would you divide the mass in two?
6Did Vezok look different before "De-Fusion"?
7Where's Vezok?

1TR - I actually never said he is a new species, I said it could be argued that he is. My own feeling is he is a Skakdi made up of protodites, but other people might say he is protodites in the shape of a Skakdi (same applies to his spine slug). Think about it -- he has, for example, a vision power, like Skadi do. Protodites don't have vision powers, so obviously he still has Skakdi abilities even in this form.
2Disousa - Not ignoring your questions, just want some time to think on them so I can give you solid answers.

1Disousa - 1) Fused protodites. 2) It would split the protodites into multiple organisms. 3) I believe that BL #4 implies there is some triggering mechanism. 4) No, that's not the case. If it were, then Vezok would have weighed half as much as he used to when Vezon was split off from him. 5) Same answer. 6) He may have, but the book does not imply that he did. 7) Vezok is in on Voya Nui with the other Piraka. Or did you mean Vezon?

1Do all Skakdi have spine slugs? If not, then which Piraka do we know besides Zaktan have spine slugs?
1I have some questions:
21)Are there planets other than the one the current Bionicle storyline is taking place on with Matoran on them?
32)What are the Voya-Nui Matoran doing? Are they still on Voya-nui or what?
43)What is the exact definition of a Toa?
54)If Bionicle characters, animals, etc. are partially organic, yet are made entirely out of Protodermis, does that mean that the cells of their organs and other Organic parts are Protodermis based, as opposed to carbon based, or what?
65)Also, how do their bodies not reject their metal parts?Do their immune systems only reject and get immunities to other organic stuff?
76)Do they bleed?
87)How tall are the Metru-Nui Matoran?
98)Will there be a set of the 300 foot venom eel? Just kidding.

1Disousa - The Piraka are on Voya Nui, and no, they had the chance to fuse them back together and their response was to snap the Spear of Fusion.
2Gaku - 1) No, not that we know of. 2) Yes, where else could they go? 3) A Toa is a particular type of hero who commands an elemental and a mask power. Normally, these are evolved Matoran, though not always. 4) Correct. Their organic parts are made of organic protodermis. There is no reason to believe they are carbon-based lifeforms. 5) Because they are not humans fitted with mechanical parts. They were created as bio-mechanical beings, so there is no danger of rejection. 6) No. 7) I don't have an exact height for them.

1Say, a matoran, or whatever had it's limbs torn off. Would they be able to be reassembled, alive?
1Gabrhil - Yes. We already know Matoran are able to rebuild themselves. Remember, the Toa when they first appeared in 2001 were missing arms and legs and simply attached them. In a case like you are talking about, there would be shock and trauma to deal with -- but assuming they get past that, when a Matoran attaches a new mechanical part, new organic tissue grows to fuse it to their body.
