1This has been a bit unclear... Are Toa Mahri' tubes literally gills that are permanently attached, or some kind of artificial device? So, can Toa Mahri breath air?
1Toa Mahri cannot breathe air, the tubes are gills
1Yes it keeps being deleted. This is for questions about Bionicle, not questions about the author's personal life.
1No, it's VERY implied. It's just not directly said. It's assumed that people have some sense of where the line is.
2Next, people will be asking him his wife's name etc., or what school his children go to.

1Mr. Farshtey, I have a few questions for you.
21. Is the mutation that occurs when you go into the pit Painful?32. How long does the transformation take?43. Why are the waters of the pit mutanogenic?54. Did the barraki look remotely like they look now before their transformation?65. Can the Matoran Of Mahri- Nui breathe Air?76. Because the toa Nuva's mission is not over yet, will they be rerealeased or remade? 87. Are there any plans to remake/ Revamp/ Release Takanuva? 98. Why do they keep making remakes of old lego star wars sets instead of making some of the other stuff from the movies?
10Just some things that i was wondering. Thanks!

1are those fully organic or also even part mechanic? if they are only organic do they have something like DNA?
1so then the non organics can create organics? like, makuta created the kraata, and the matoran can make the morbuzahk2can they still do that? or did the matoran forget how to do it when they were stuck in the pods? and did the creatures outside of the domes that got in [like the squids] did they mutate like the barraki did?
1Scholzie -21) No32) Varies depending on what is being changed and by how much43) Hasn't been revealed54) No65) Yes76) My assumption is they will be87) Haven't heard anything definite on that98) Asking the wrong person -- I am not an SW set designer or marketing manager. What we make, as far as I know, is what Lucasfilm wants us to make.
10Shikamaru - Organics do not have mechanical parts. Whether they have DNA or not has not been determined.
11Shadow - Matoran did not make the Morbuzakh, Makuta did.

1That's hardly a biography, Aegis.
2And, where is it implied? As far as I can see, greg should be answering my question--you still have not yet proved that this is only for Bionicle questions.
3So, where is it 'implied but not directly said?'
4Greg, what's your favorite TV series/movie and Bionicle set from each year?

4Greg, what's your favorite TV series/movie and Bionicle set from each year?
1Don't have a favorite set from every year. I concentrate on story far more than I do on models.
1Are mutations due to the Pit's waters permanent?
1So if the matoran from mahri-nui can breathe air, why don't they leave and go back to Voya Nui? cant they swim there?
1Jaril - Thus far, nothing has been shown to be able to reverse them.
2Rabin - Not to my knowledge, I doubt there would be a huge market for that. That is something that would appeal mainly to really in-depth collectors, and there aren't a lot of those in our fanbase.
3Scholzie - ET is basically correct. They don't know Voya Nui is there, and Mata Nui (even if they knew it existed) is way too far to swim to. As for the Matoran's death, that was mainly an issue of rising too far too fast, much like human divers can contract the "bends" from doing.

1are there any "fohrok" sets planned? or maybe bohrok peices in tub sets?
1VB - No. We did Bohrok twice, and by the time we did the Kal, they had stopped selling. No point in doing them three times. As far as the tubs, the tubs get made up of whatever pieces we have extras of -- since the last Bohrok sets were four years ago, I doubt we still have any of those pieces lying around.
1What's the difference between the Grafna and the Hydruka? They look the same from what I can tell. Are the Grafna just smaller or what?
2And Is there any kind of mask other than the Kanohi and Krana?
3Also, It's more of a question about Lego pieces, but Bionicle related, I apologize If I'm not supposed to ask, but does the (LEGO) company still have the ability to make old-fashioned Toa heads and masks? I hope they still can.
4Another question, what species did Axonn, Brutaka, and Umbra belong to?
5And is it true that there was a planned combiner for the Toa and bohrok at one time?

1I have over heard a lot of stories about a Toa named Shakuto that joined the Dark Hunters but left after he has supposed to kill an old freind and is now seeking redemption. I also heard he was the best Toa swordsmen; is he real and if he is could you discribe him for me please. Things like element power, color, personality.
2thank you Greg
2thank you Greg
1Shock_Dragoon - That character does not exist.
2Gaku - The only kind of mask are Kanohi. All Kanohi are masks. Krana are... Well, Krana. But they aren't masks.
3Gafna and Hydruka are different species, duh. And there's pleny of differences... The head, for example. And the fact that the Hydruka only live in the water and Gafna on land.
4@Species - No names have been given.
5I can't answer the rest.
6Vahki Bones - The Piraka will be back in BL#8
7----
8And go ahead y'all. Send me more hate mail for helpin' Greg out. It doesn't bother me in the least.

1To supplement ET's answers --
2Gaku -- On the ability to make old masks and heads, I cannot give you an official answer. It depends on if the old molds exist or not. After so many uses, molds crack, and unless you know you need to keep making those pieces, you don't buy new ones as they are really expensive. And I don't recall ever hearing anything about a Toa-Bohrok combiner.
3VB - I haven't heard anything about a tub, but usually I wouldn't. It usually depends on if we have more parts than we need and need to get rid of them -- that doesn't always happen. No, there are no new Skakdi sets planned -- see Bohrok-Kal for the reason why not.

1Greg, I think what VB meant was mutated/transformed/elite/etc. skakdi.
1Shadow - Answer's still no.
1If Mata Nui dies, the Toa Nuva (or the Inika/Mahri)will never be able to complete their destinies, right?
1Jaril - That would be correct, can't really wake up someone who's dead.
1Do dark hunters have to pass a test or go through some sort of training before they become members? or do they just pick up people and instantly make them members? Are there rankings for different members?
1To answer your first question, yes, they do -- Sidorak and Hakann are seen going through such tests in BL #4, and Nidhiki worked as a trainer for DH for sometime after his defection. I don't know that there are rankings as such, but certainly members with more experience/better records would get choicer assignments.
