3Just to note, Makuta is younger than the OoMN. Makuta is younger than Umbra, and the OoMN sent Umbra to go guard the Ignika. Here's a small Greg quote that proves it (and surprisingly, can go here:

3Think for a moment just how BIG a protodermis prison you would need for him ... and where would you put it? Would you really want it caged someplace in the city, knowing it might get lucky and bust out at some point? Or would you rather have it far the heck away from your city?
4But I thought that only the Toa themselves can unlock their prisons . . . like how the Hordika unknowingly did when they struck Roodaka at the same time?
5Besides that, yeah, I would want a giant dragon as far away as possible. But if the Toa Prisons can only be broken by the Toa who created them (but now I think I'm doubting that), then why not imprison him and throw him in the Archives? Surely Mavrah would have LOVED to have him down there:

7Just wasn't seen as a practical thing to do. If Godzilla rampaged through London, I think their first thought would be 1-kill it and 2-get it out of here. It's doubtful, after all that damage, that the public would want it anywhere near them. After all, if the first Toa to defeat it had caged it far away from Metru Nui, the DH would never have been able to unleash it on the city. (And, while you are right about what it takes to open the prison, Roodaka was able to trick the Toa into providing the power to open one -- so someone else could too.)

3I have a question- in your Dark Hunters Guide, The Shadowed One said that it was prime time to take Metru Nui, because only one person was guarding it. But, why didn't he just take over the city the entire 1,000 years that it was only inhabbited by Dume and the Rahaga?
